Date= 5/31/2022 Price: ***** ************* I tried to return this new part never installed and was rejected because store manager thinks or assumes it was installed. It is less than 24 hours. The part is in new condition with original receipt and boxing. They are very rude and will not even consider me paying a restock fee. This is not how business owners should be allowed to do business. I am sorry that ******************** is disappointed. It is never a happy moment for us when a customer's request for return is denied. We are happy to take back parts that have not been installed and we go to extraordinary effort with every customer to point out how we determine if a part has been installed. We inspect every part at the time of sale confirming there are no scratch marks on the electrical terminals. We guarantee that every part we sell is new, unused and has never been installed. We did not offer ******************** a restocking fee because we would never consider restocking a used part. We would throw the part away.Customer response

I am rejecting this response because:
The part I tried to return is brand new. No scratches whatsoever. The part is brand new uninstalled. You may even put it under a microscope and you will find it in mint brand new condition. This is a small business owner who is taking advantage of customers. Im going to let it slide because it is less than $100. Others may take this small business owner to litigation. I would advise the business owner to change his receipts to say all sales final. (NO RETURNS)Regards,

I am disappointed that the customer's narrative of what transpired no longer matches ours. On 5/31/2022 we performed a free bench test on customer's old motor and it tested bad. He purchased a new motor and we explained our return policy on installed parts (the policy is written on the invoice also). Customer called later in the day to report that the new motor is running, but his refrigerator is not cooling properly. We advised him of other checks to make on his refrigerator. On 6/1/2022 customer returned to store stating the motor did not solve all of his problems and he was throwing away his refrigerator. He wanted to return his motor for a refund. He was reminded that we do not refund installed parts. He called me to appeal his case and never once told me the part had not been installed. Instead he argued that some online vendors will take back installed parts trying to convince me that we should do the same. We guarantee our customers the parts we sell are new & unused. The online vendors do not make that guarantee. It would be absolutely unethical for us sell a part as new when when our customer told us it was installed and running. We are happy to refund money on unused parts purchased from our inventory that are returned in salable condition in the original packaging. I am sorry that the motor did not return his refrigerator to normal operation.Customer response
