Purchased the car May 29. On the following Thursday June 6th,less than a week and a half after driving off the lot the car stopped working. My daughter was driving on the highway with a friend and she was unable to accelerate. Hardly moving. Thank God there was no traffic. She had to put her hazards on and pull over. Luckily she was not far from home but it barely made it home. She was terrified. I called up to let owner know what happened because he said if there were any problems to bring it back and they will fix it. I should have known when he said that there was something up with the car. When we eventually did speak he said he would come by that evening. Waited and waited. My S/O called him and he says he wont be able to look at it till the following Monday. Fine. Finally comes to look at it some time after 8 pm. He attaches the diagnostics and says the code that is coming up has to do with not having enough transmission fluid. So theres a leak somewhere right? Then goes on to say that theres no way he wouldve known about the transmission default and how he only made $500 off my car purchase. That the car cannot be driven and for me to take it to a ************** dealer and tell them that I need transmission service because its already had diagnostics on it. I ended up towing the car to a mechanic nearby where there was more than that one diagnostics code error and now the cost to repair will be more than what I paid for it. Already out of pocket $143 initial tow, mechanic diagnostics $149+ $110 tow back home. The car was purchased for $5500+tax a fees for a total of $6138.25. Her Dad asked the owner how he was going to make this right. He says he can take care of the towing. Gee thanks. I am a single mom and disabled veteran. Me and her Dad saved up to buy her first car for her birthday so she can have something to drive coming into her senior year. She only got to drive it a handful of times. Hardly put any miles on it and this happens. What a disaster.

Bad business practices and described cars as good working conditions ti find all kind of issues from bad a/c compressor, bad alternator and bad transmission and these were issues I found out the very next day after spending $8500 cash. This business needs to be investigated and shutdown. People work hard looking for reliable cars and he is only into make a quick dollar but is not selling reliable cars. I understand buying a car as is but there should be a lemon law for businesses like Executive Auto Sales DFW. I had to pay for my own repairs not even 24 hours later after purchasing the car from them. He is not throughly checking his vehicles before putting them out for sale because he would have know the a/c didnt work but had in his description that everything worked including the a/c. This place needs ti be shut down or at least investigated by the BBB.
