I sent a letter to my local gym to cancel, but they must have not received my mail because they are still charging me. After I canceled my card on file, they went in and started charging me from an old credit card without informing me. This is fraud and I cannot believe that this is allowed; it is unethical and completely inappropriate.

Planet fitness in fond du lac Wisconsin has double charged my account for seven months! I asked two separate managers about this and I was told it was against policy to refund my account or credit my account. I have since cancelled my membership

I think that it is not right that you cannot cancel services over the phone or on your end at any time. I also think that of you have outstanding balance and have not gone to the gym in months you shouldnt have to pay the outstanding balance and just leave it be as the customer and the company are at a mutual agreement at that point as theyre both out of business. Planet Fitness is a scam, I fractured my Tailbone in March and went in to cancel and did not get my services cancelled correctly, I am still being charged and theyre telling me that I have to pay the remaining balance in order to cancel even though I havent been since March. There is no empathy within the company, no understanding of people financial situations and the lack thereof. This is a bad company that needs a huge revamp, especially ***** the trans woman who was all man in the womans locker room changing that made others and children feel uncomfortable, instead of correcting the situation they threw out those who complained about being uncomfortable.

I have been going to Planet Fitness in ****************** for a few years and have not had any issues until now. I am DISGUSTED how I was recently treated by one of their employees. There was an argument between myself and a new custodial girl. I believe the Manager, ******, and the Regional Manager, ********, did not take appropriate action against this employee. The worker probably just got a slap on the wrist. SHAME ON YOU BOTH for not having a customer's back! I think these managers need some sort of management and behavorial classes. JUDGMENT FREE MY ASS!

I called a month before my account was going to renew and was told if i put it on hold it wouldn't actually let my account expire and if I canceled, i would get an early cancelation charge. No big deal I can wait a month. The phone representative told me I need to go into my local branch and cancel it around the 17th, i went in on the 16th, and they canceled it with no problem. However, they informed me that because the billing cycle starts on the 11th, I will be charged an extra month (That I don't want). So, it's either incur an early cancelation fee, or pay for a month you don't want. I waited on hold this morning to ask about this (44 minutes even though the recording kept telling me my wait time should be less than 10 minutes), for the rude customer service agent to tell me that was exactly right, and that I could not get a refund.So be warned, they might be the "no judgement" zone, but they have no qualms about being s shady hands in your wallet zone.

I called their so called billing people to let them know our house hold had COVID and my payment and annual fee would be paid the 31st. The rep says so you want to cancel I can do that then puts me on hold. She get back on the phone and says to be clear were canceling today, I said no I said I need to extend the 2 payments until the 31st. The rep says oh my apologies I cannot do that for you we do not extend payment but if you dont have the money in your account they will just keep trying until it does. Wtf this place makes millions and you cannot extend a payment the add a $15 late fee when I told your rep what was going on. Worst customer service ever and Im not paying a late fee period. Worst ever.

I asked them how to cancel my service and they said write and mail a letter with my signature. I did I live less than 10 minutes so I know they received my letter weeks ago. I got charged $60 more dollars and they are about to charge another 27 dollars. Do not sign up for Planet Fitness as it is only about the money for them and ignoring you when you want to leave them. Also they aren't secured as mask men came in with guns and they didn't have a plan in place for any security measures. Plus it may say judgment free but I felt judged everytime especially with one lady staring constantly while I was working out and the staff didn't do anything.

I canceled my membership back in December of 2023 paid the $50 fee and all, they still continued to take money from my account every month. I went to my bank to stop payment on their transaction, which then made them escalate to taking $40 dollars out of my account. This place will rob you blind, they don't care about keeping people safe just how to get more out of their canceled members.

This place is unbelievable! Very unsafe, dont feel safe letting my wife use the showers

PF is the worst gym in **********, **. Bad manager and owner. They do not fix or grease or maintain anything here at all. So many broken machines, you cannot use so much here. Then they said they were moving, but never did, we lost a week of workouts, they never called, emailed or informed us, nothing in our spam, they lied to us. The manager here is a liar and the worst manager of a gym ever. They owe us for a week that they said they were closed. No, I do not want the refund in tootsie rolls! No sign on the new location either. They are messed up here. Now I have to complain with my credit card company to get a refund. Bad employees. Dirty gym. ******* place, the manager is on her cellphone all over the gym, yet the signs say no cellphones only in lobby. She is the worst example of a manager for the customers here. They allow these groups of people to do group training, but the signs say no personal training, although a group of 6-8 people all huddled and goofing off. They do not enforce any of their rules here. People on cellphones all over the place. Some with flip flops. So many old people who talk and do not move from machines. So many on their cellphones, so many. So many do not break down weights. Almost all ellipticals and bikes are broken at this gym. So much says broken on it. Mediocrity is the norm at this gym. The worst gym in the county.
