This facility does not care if you live or die. They will NOT go to the effort of finding "lost" medical records. They happily will kick you to the curb. My doctor has sent multiple referrals for endocrinology. These referrals are going into a "dark hole" and staff has no incentive to help. If I could give negative stars, I would.

I need to get an urgent care appointment for a suspected blood clot in my leg, I called them at night, it's an urgent matter to be seen, they gave me appointment for the next day at their internal medicine. I was told the you need to call at 6:58 AM to get the urgent care appointment next day otherwise. However I took the appointment they gave me.Just before 3 hours my appointment next day, someone called me from their internal medicine and told me that due to their policy they cannot see me in internal medicine and I must go back to family practice. I never asked for internal medicine appointment and I have nothing to do with their internal policy, their people on phone gave me that appointment. Then I call the call center number again, they don't have any appointments till Friday.These guys are total lost what they are doing, feel like a group of unorganized people running ADC now, I am seriously looking for an alternative provider for my family of 7 for their health care needs.

We moved away from Austin and needed a new pediatrician. The new doctor requested our records from ADC weeks ago and just today we received a **** from a third party called Sharecare saying they would not release our records to the new doctor until we paid for the copies and a HIPAA labor fee. We have had to move doctors a few times and none have ever requested a fee for transferring the records. If the portal wasnt awful and if the front desk ever answered the phone this wouldnt feel like a big deal, but we have no way of knowing this is a legitimate service and no way of accessing the health info online. Our pediatrician was absolutely amazing and I hope she doesnt lose patients due to the business/billing side of the practice. I could never recommend their practice because of the stress of trying to get a hold of a person for scheduling and billing.

I have had only one Very Helpful person communicate valuable information to me in an attempt to help me Still get a detailed receipt from my imaging appointment back on May 23rd. The way I have my insurance set up, I have to send in a detailed receipt in order to get reimbursed for the payment I put on a credit card. I expected to have to do this but I did Not expect it to be So Much of an Inappropriate Complication to get the detailed receipt. Since that Monday, May 23rd I have been on the phone all remaining 4 days of that week. Four more business days the following week. 3 more times the next week, all while trying to do my own work, and Finally I have gotten a response that they can mail a receipt to me or I can come to pick it up. I wish I would have said I'd take off of work to pick it up, because since I was told this June 16th, I still have yet to receive it in the mail. I was even told that it may be in question what my insurance would need in order to process the claim. So Once I do get this receipt I am Still Waiting On, I do not even Know if it will be suitable or Not to use.Come On Seriously! This is a part of Everyday Medical Activity when dealing with Insurance!Thank God I am not with my old employer, for I would have already missed the deadline to submit this for a reimbursement I am Very shocked that they allow the conduct of business like this to exist.Still Waiting on my receipt to Hopefully see if it will qualify to get my reimbursement or not.

I requested my medical records be sent to a new medical provider after my primary care physician at Austin Diagnostic Clinic moved to a different city. I've already seen the new provider as I'm having some medical issues that need addressed, but they'd asked me to get my medical records transferred to them from Austin Diagnostic Clinic. This was a couple months ago. Today I've received a **** from Sharecare advising that I owed $13.52 for "martials cost pages" and "HIPAA labor". I originally requested the records transfer beginning of May 2022, now almost 2 months later I know why they weren't transferred. The Sharecare explanation letter that accompanied the invoice explained that when I requested the records that there was some fine print advising that payment was required before my records would be transferred! Seriously!!!! I'm sorry, this held up some medical attention, how on earth can they do this! If you want payment first send an invoice in a timely manner, not months later. Additionally, if you want payment for something like this upfront then **** me when I request it. This is just plain ridiculous, no common sense at all with whoever is establishing these procedures. I am not surprised that Austin Diagnostic Clinic would use a company like Sharecare that has such ridiculous operational procedures. Shame on Sharecare, shame on Austin Diagnostic Clinic. I am so glad I changed providers when my PCP moved, my new PCP is amazing in all ways. Didn't take much to beat Austin Diagnostic Clinic, but they've exceeded the very low bar Austin Diagnostic Clinic set in all ways.

Hold times to book an appointment remain over 30+ minutes. **** seem to hope you will just give up rather than provide care. They suggest booking on their website, but its buggy and impossible as well. This issue has been going on for years now. They dont care about patients or our need for care. Disgusting. Moving my familys care elsewhere.
