We have thoroughly reviewed the complaint filed by ******************** regarding the unauthorized insurance policy under agent *************************, dated 06/26/2024.
We promptly contacted ******************** upon learning of the issue and have since cancelled the policy in question. No payments were received by Securico Life, so no refunds were necessary.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused and assure you we are committed to maintaining the highest standards of integrity and customer satisfaction, we are also in the process of investigating the agent in question.Sincerely,

Called for 75 minutes straight with no answer. It was a total of 25 calls straight. They send you to voicemail after 2 minutes of being on hold. The problem is I left a voicemail two days ago, and no one bothered to call me back.Business response

Hello Better Business Bureau. Securico Life ***************** was able to discuss this matter directly with *************************** through a telephone call. As a result the policy(1001832S) written for ************************* was canceled on 5-29-2024 with a refund of the surrender value. We believe that this was satisfactory to ***************************.

This insurance company suddenly started taking money from my checking acct. $45.38./ mo I don't even remember when it started , I believe 2023 but not sure because I was sick 98,% of 2022 & was in & out of hospital 3 times. I have had life insurance for 8-9 yrs so why would I want more? I'm on a fixed income! All I want is a full refund of every month they have withdrawn money from my account! I'm not at my house at the moment to check that to the ***** but I know the dollar amount is correct & at least 9 months (45.38x9 or more) ! I'd appreciate anything you can do to help me. This is only one of four or five fraud cases I've acquired since I became sick & stopped paying daily attention to my account. On December 28, 2022, *********************;agreed via voice authorization to the coverage provided in Securico Life ***************** as well as the monthly premium payment of $45.53 with an initial payment on February 1, 2023, via telephonically with a voice signature and recurring electronic payments on the first of each month directly from the bank account that she provided in the phone call. *********************;stated in the enrollment application call that she had another policy, and that Securico Life *****************s policy would not replace any other policy that she has. The telephonic message is too large to attach in this response. Please advise how to send this directly to you as well.
Securico Life ***************** did not by any fraudulent methods generate illegal banking transactions against ********************* based upon the aforementioned items and the telephonic recording of the sale of the insurance policy and authorization electronic funds transfer which is attached in this response. We attach a copy of the application and the insurance policy for your ready reference. We also note we have no record of ********************* contacting us about these previously authorized premium payments.

I am rejecting this response because:
I don't recall ever doing any of the said signing lol I was in the hospital 2-3 times last year & loopy most of the time. But why would I buy life insurance when I already have life insurance!!! I want a partial refund and policy cancelled ASAP & IF MONEY TAKEN FOR OCTOBER DEFINITELY want that refunded as well.!!!

As previously noted the company has a voice recording of this transaction that took place in 2023. We are honoring ********************* request for a partial refund and policy cancellation. We are refunding 3 months premium of $136.59. Please allow 3-5 business days to notice this refund in the banking accounting provided.Customer response

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.I am very satisfied with the outcome of my complaint (Dispute# ********).
I honestly do not remember any conversation with that company much less giving my bank **** information out over the phone which is something I would never do! They did cancel the policy & returned half of my money back. While I preferred to have gotten ALL of my money back, I'm grateful to at least have gotten half
