On date Nov 8, 2022 I toke my 2004 Ford Explore to the Two Amigos Auto Mechanic shop on Calder Street in Beaumont Texas to have it fixed because I was having problems putting it in park I spoke/talked with the owner who said he would have one of his mechanics fix the problem so I left the Ford with them to fix I had to work the next day when he called and said it was fixed/ready so I gave my wife $100 to go and pick it up assuming it was fixed however the ford is doing the same thing as before. when I went back to complain and told him it was doing the same thing he then said that they don't fix/work on transmission and that i should take it to a transmission shop to have it repaired/fixed but he charged me $95 when he didn't do any thing to the Ford what so ever Im have te same problem with it I would like to get a refund of my money $95 He say he adjust shift cable what is that how do you adjust shift cable thats how he cheat people out of there moneyBusiness response

The customers brought their vehicle to my shop. Later, after I looked at the vehicle, I called them to let them know I believed there is an issue with the transmission; however, I could try adjusting the shift cable but it might not work.
When they came back to pick up the vehicle I gave them an invoice for the repair (adjusting the shift cable). Later, they returned with the same problem but did not say they wanted their money back. Mr. Davis asked me try adjusting the shift cable one more time. He asked how much I would charge? I said, no charge. Then, I advised he would still have the same issue and it would be best to take the vehicle to a transmission specialist. Now, after receiving this complaint, I understand they want a refund.
I am willing to give them a full refund providing they bring me the original invoice. I am doing this as a gesture of good will; not because I did anything wrong as I made the repair and charged the for it.
