On January 10, 2023, I dropped off my Benchmade Infidel knife to be sharpened. I arrived today to pick up my knife to find it broken. It will neither eject or retract the blade. Upon looking at the comments from the sharpener, it was stated the knife was broken upon his receipt. Now I am not in the habit of carrying a $400.00 tactical knife that is broken. Furthermore, bringing it in to be sharpened. When I dropped the knife off, it was in perfect condition as my other 2 Infidels. This means, either an employee of ********************** or the sharpener broke the knife. Upon discussion with the store manager, his response was "I don't know what to tell you". It was offered to waive the $14.50 charge, but being a man of integrity, I paid my bill. I will never shop.an ACE again and will let my community know to never use their sharpening service, unless you are prepared to have a broken knife returned. I now have to send the knife back to Benchmade for repair.Business response

we have contacted the customer and believe we have resolved the issue with them. below is a copy/paste of an email between our store's General Manager and the customer. Please let me know what additional action is needed on our part. thank you.
