March 2024 Birdcreek Roofing installed a brand new roof on my home. I was harassed over text by the contractor and he contacted my insurance company to tell them I was trying to commit fraud. I withheld final payment due to poor installation, no ventilation and not fulfilling the contract. I was threatened and then ignored after final payment was made. I have health issues due to the humidity that have worsened since March. I had to take time off from college and repay fees due to medical, emotional and physical stress. The final price kept fluctuating without an explanation. I was told we talked about the $10,000.00 difference which was incorrect. I have proof of these interactions. Birdcreek threatening to file suit against me. There was no final inspection, the shingles are discolored already due to poor installation and no ventilation. Due to attic temperature this roof will not be covered by insurance. There is water damage causing leaks, I have become invested with outdoor insects. mold has started to grow plus condensation on all my windows causing damage, drip edges are coming off. Hired a new company to fix the ventilation system and pest control. My insurance was not contacted about defectives in the sub roofing. I was not provided any documents as I requested to make sure I have my warranty information. My health has declined since installation drastically causing doctor ************ for respiratory infections. Mold is starting to appear on the ceiling. I had to purchase dehumidifiers at my own cost to make the air quality improve. Mold and AC professionals have inspected it. I was displaced from my home at my own expense. Humidity is so high I have condensation daily on windows. My electricity bill has increased, my insulation has sunken. Their is moisture in my attic visible to the naked eye that has started to weaken the beams. This issue would have cost me my home if not my life due to their negligence and lack of truthfulness about the situation.Business response

We are in contact with the homeowner and have responded to her request to address issues with her roof. The management of Birdcreek are investigating her claim that someone representing Birdcreek threatened a lawsuit. The management takes this seriously and will address this accordingly. I have personally spoken with ******* and am confident we will resolve this situation.

3/27/23-inspection/quote by ***** from Birdcreek( bathroom and roof )4/19/23-Insurance approved roof replacement and bathroom repairs 5/3/23- I asked for roofing company estimate. Was told by ***** that it is common practice to use adjusters estimate 6/21/23- Roof was replaced but no work done on bathroom.7/5/23- email Invoice from ********* Team requesting payment in full $7,587.14 7/26/23-my reply to ***** asking him to schedule completion of work scope so I could submit payment in full 7/26/23- response from ********* Team stating that when initial payment cleared they would schedule the interior work 8/1/23- payment in full submitted using link provided by ********* and I emailed them 8/14/23- I contact *********************** to get date of when h*** complete the work. He states he has no one to do the work. Asks me to find someone. And if I do h*** refund the money. I expressed to him I knew of no one in SA. 10/20/23- spoke to ***** again and says h*** have someone do the work the following week. 10/23/23- no word from ***** so I call him again. ***** says hes still trying to get someone to do the work but has no one as of yet. After this I made calls to the insurance company, the adjuster and basically anyone that would help me out. I even filed a complaint with TDI I finally reached out to the founder of Birdcreek *********************** by text only. He had ***************************** contact me. I spoke to him and I thought hed get someone to do the work TO DO THE HONORABLE THING. Get the job completed. Last communication with ***** was last week. He said he would try to get someone on Monday 2/19/24. I made the trip to *********** from ****** to be available. I get no phone call nor text from ***** to get status on someone coming or not. I left vm and texts. I even reached out to ***************** again and no answer or text.Business response

Hello,
The situation was escalated to ***************************** who is a Team Lead over the original consultant.
We have had difficulty getting a repair person coordinated on this job, but we recently completed the repairs and addressed Ms ********* concerns.
In ****** most recent conversation he stated that she was happy with the outcome. ***** will discuss with her removing the complaint.
