0 Stars........................ They tried to tack on $9,000 of extra warranties on top of the sales price of the vehicle. $24,000 vehicle at $800 a month for 60 months. A key fob warranty for 3 years for $2200, windshield replacement for $2100 for 3 years. They tried to get me to pay $2100 for the services they provided to the vehicle after they bought it....... I asked for the vehicle to be delivered as I have no way to get it home without and **** ride of 45 minutes and they said they could do it. We agreed on 5pm drop off. It's been pushed back 6 times now, and i don't know if I'm going to get it without calling the police. The person that was supposed to deliver my truck just went home for the day. On September 9, 2024 I regretfully purchased a 2020 Hyundai ****** Limited 1.6L from Van Hyundai located in **********, ** in person. I have been having issues with this vehicle since the night I drove it home which is over 2 hours. The sales manager, **** *****, and staff haven known about these issues that I was told will be fixed before pick up. When I went to pick up the vehicle the same issues still remained with the vehicle. I have brought complaints to this to the companys staff attention a numerous amount of times. The car was sold to me as if it were a brand new vehicle and never been wrecked with low mileage. They refused to fix the issues. The driver side window doesn't function properly. My credit was ran several times without my permission, as I asked beforehand not to keep running it and was told they wouldn't. I have credit report file proof. Vehicle car pulls to one side or the other. loud engine/ motor and rattling heard under hood car doesn't speed up fast as it should. Worn front brakes, cruise control doesn't function. Ive been noticing little things as the days go by. I recently noticed there is also an electrical issue with the vehicle. This place has fraud written all over it. Would give this place zero stars if I could. Lets start with their dishonest pricing: they DOUBLED the advertised price with ridiculous upgrades and then tried to say they would have to charge us to have them removed! The sales team and finance department wasted over 6 HOURS of our time going back and forth on the price, again- being dishonest and presenting pricing that was not approved to keep us there. It wasnt until our daughter had signed her paperwork and was walking out expecting to get the keys, that our salesman told her that it wasnt ready and they wouldnt allow her to take it home, yet no one couldnt tell us WHAT work needed to be done. They said it would be ready at noon two days later, and when she arrived to pick it up they tried to tell her it would be another two days and SHOCKER, they couldnt give her a straight reason why. Our daughter had to basically demand that they give her the car that she rightfully owned! How they justify putting cars on the lot that are not truly ready to be purchased and taken home is beyond me. The ONLY thing the sales team is actually good at is saying I dont know and disappearing anytime their actions are questioned. Save your time, energy and sanity and go ANYWHERE else to buy a car than here.Review from Disappointed C

I recently had an extremely frustrating experience at Van Hyundai.After negotiating a price for a vehicle, I scheduled an appointment with *******************************************, expecting a straightforward transaction.My family and I drove for an hour in the rain, only to be met with extreme unprofessionalism and a lack of respect for client's time and written agreement.Upon arrival, *********** was nowhere to be found, and we were passed off to another agent to start the paperwork.After we spent half an hour completing financing forms, *********** finally made an appearance. She cavalierly mentioned she was busy as a successful manager and announced an additional $500 charge to our agreed price, citing her earlier oversight regarding the car's color despite our written agreement confirming the price. This was just the beginning of our troubles.After we highlighted our written agreement, *********** left, promising to return shortly but never did. In her place, the other agent returned, this time with an even more shocking update: the price had been increased by over $1000. This was not just unprofessional, but it felt like a deliberate deception.What's more, when I sought a simple apology from *********** for this unacceptable behavior, she refused to face us, hiding in her office without offering any explanation. The agent who was with us did apologize for the sudden price hike, acknowledging the direct breach of trust, cheating their clients in their face and damaging their own reputation.Feeling deeply let down, we left Van Hyundai and purchased our vehicle from another Hyundai dealer, where we received the professional and honest service we expected from Hyundai.Review from James B

It was good. At first but then they try to get me into a deal that was ridiculous high. For a truck. The salesperson Juan advised me if I put my down payment on the truck and come back on Monday to see if the "deal went through ". I asked before putting the down payment of 3 thousand dollars. If the deal didn't go thru could I get my money back I asked at least 3 times he said yes" no problem ". So I called Monday and said their was not a deal. So I sad ok then just give me my money back. He was trying to rush me off the phone not really addressing my down payment return. So when I asked about when will I receive my money they just said i will call back with to find out never got any calls or anything I called at least 5 times spoke with. Juan. Victor. Deandre. They all said they were " managers ". And every time they said I will call back I have yet to receive any call ??? They waisted my time by telling they can get me into a truck. When. They failed. They still don't want to give me the money they owe me of 3 thousand dollars. I text Juan and he just Dosent respond or really seem to care about the situation?? To sum up the story I went in to buy a Santa Cruz that was listed on their website for one price. When I go into the dealership it is $10K above their online price because of "market adjustments". If people were to buy a car $10k over its value they will be upside down like crazy. With that being said I left and went to Autonation Hyundai who does not do market adjustments and got the vehicle for their online price.Review from Sundararaghavan K

My experience is one of getting cheated in after-sale customer service. I purchased a new 2021 Santa Fe about six months ago. The driver side floor mat was small and was not the correct one for this car. I requested that to be replaced. Due to covid related restrictions, I was able to contact them about a month ago only, about five months after purchase. The dealer wanted me to buy a new mat. I declined and requested again for a replacement because, as a matter of principle, I must get what I paid for and bought. In spite of contacting the sales team courteously a few times - Karla L*********, Sales Executive and Chris O****, General Sales Manager- there is no reply and no resolution of the issue. The issue is not one of money. It is easy for me to buy the new mat. The issue is one of integrity and fairness in commercial transaction. The sales people did not supply what they said they were selling for the agreed-to price. The sales team should have kept up their side of the purchase agreement and replaced the mat with due apologies for the inconvenience caused to me as a customer, as a professional and competitive practice. As a customer, I am left with a bad taste. If they behave like this in small money matters, how good are they really, I wonder. I specifically selected Hyundai over many other brands and visited Huffines first before visiting van Hyundai to buy the model I wanted which they had readily available in the current supply-deprived market. In purchasing the vehicle with Van Hyundai also, experience with the sales team was anything but smooth and well-coordinated. I had to jump through several hoops to even establish a simple line of communication and discussion with one person (any person) with whom I could discuss and conclude. Not a pleasant experience at all. In short, Hyundai is a good car. But Van Hyundai is not a good dealer - not worth wasting my time or money with them again.Review from Jason G

Van Hyundai advertised a used vehicle for sale on its website and through Cargurus.com The vehicle was everything that I wanted but the advertised seemed to good to be true. I called the dealer immediately and was told that the vehicle was no longer available. 2 days later I recieved an email from Jesus M********* asking when I would like to come see the vehicle, take a test drive, etc. The e-mail included a picture of the vehicle and "todays price". I immediately called Jesus asked if the vehicle was once again available. He said the previous purchase has fallen through and the vehicle was available. I pushed him to verify that THAT vehicle was available. I assured him that I was only interested in that particular vehicle and would not be a party to a bait and switch. He assured me that he had my vehicle. It was only after I pressed him to confirm the price, did he acknowledge that the price was actually $4k MORE THAN ADVERTISED. This is a disreputable, deceitful, and abhorrent way to do business. When I called the "manager" and shared my displeasure with their business practices, his response was basically, too bad, and that they would not be honoring their advertised price because legally they don't have to. These people are the reason car salesman enjoy the reputation that they have. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH VAN HYUNDAI !!!
