I advised at the time of my first appointment the copay amount was less and was brushed aside. It has been over a month since both claims have come back showing I overpaid. I have emailed twice asking for the status of the refund and have received no response.Business response

The patient never phoned our office. She sent one email, and we were processing her refund. We phoned the patient this morning. Our Billing Manager advised her what our process was and that she should be getting that back on her card today, and it will take up to 72 hours for her bank to show it. She said she asked for our email address at front desk and they told her we did not have one. She says she prefers to communicate via email. We advised we do not communicate via email regarding billing and that she can call us any time and gave her our phone number. We also advised her that Per her insurance (BCBS) eligibility they show her copay at $80.00 vs what they are allowing when the process the claim and that is why we collected what we did. This is resolved.Business response

The patient was refunded their money on 2/15/24. She was told to call our office if it did not show up in her account from her bank as we processed that refund on 2/15. . We have not heard from her.
