Our experience with Mill Creek began Jan 22, drawn to them by their adv website price,on our 1st visit we spoke of the price from the website and they stated it was subject to change, we asked what is the price with and without the bonusroom on a particular plan?We were told $532K without and $560K with the room.We opted no bonusroom.Met several more times and signed a design service agreement,paid $2500.Service agreement had a time schedule listed that was not followed by Mill Creek,many times scheduled for us to return 2-3 weeks later and lucky to get email replies for our questions.Called the office to find out what our budgets were due to no replies from our sales rep.We have emails stating our budget asking sales if we were still good with our budget as we made changes to the plan and were told yes.Each time we returned we were told we needed to remove more items off our plan to free up $ so we removed a large knee wall,500sq ft of patio along with many other items but never ever saw credit numbers for those removals,not transparent with us even about the numbers,if a change was made to the plan and something was added the number went up but not down with what we removed.At our last meeting weeks later and very minimal communication with them,the 1st numbers we actually saw during this process and the price went up with over a $160k disparity between our communicated budget for the homebuild vs what the final number given to us.They knew our budget, wasted our time and energy and never communicated any changes to the budget along the way causing us to lose our locked in interest on our bank loan.We have req our $2500 back due to not agreeing to a fully executed plan (per service agreement)and they HAVE NOT honored that request.After speaking to the ** we were told that the website numbers were GROSSLY UNDERPRICED yet they continue to be advertised with no price adjustments.Simply sharing our experience so that others are not blinded by companies such as these.

We used Mill Creek Homes to build our forever home last year. I cannot express how miserable this experience was from start to finish. From the top (*****) down these tricksters were unprofessional, arrogant, and downright ugly to work with. If I could go back in time, I should of just subcontracted the house out myself. Even when you raise an issue with them, they keep pushing forward blind not caring about obvious design flaws that cost them and us in time/materials. ****** needs to give us the ability to give zero stars as it took everything in me to click one of the five!A few issues that are worth noting:- Living room center beam design flaw took nine weeks from the moment we reported it to them, to getting the owner out to see for himself what his construction supervisors could not. This caused a delay that would ultimately put the entire house over by a month on its estimated completion date. I still remember at one point the construction supervisor said **************** its correct, we put a tape measure on it.- We had two construction supervisors quit during the build/warranty period. They never notified us of this as they were both working on issues that we expected answers on.- We have spray foam stains on the siding, front porch, and all through our stained concrete home. Sent numerous pictures, had them out to take pictures, and nothing. Had to pursue this with their warranty administrator. They are still ignoring texts and emails on this subject.- Our back door is warped and has been deemed irreparable by their trim *********. It is still warped and letting cold air in daily as they have simply ignored my texts and emails on this. Had to pursue this as well with their warranty administrator. Oh, and we specd fiberglass doors and due to the warped door rubbing, we now know it is wood. Blessing in disguise I guess.- Our first job site walk with the construction supervisors consisted of them asking us if we had a copy of the home plans. Yes, they sh
