On January 16, 2021, I paid $700 to have gutters installed on a building at my property. Around June 2021, I contacted the business to ask that they come out and adjust a downspout because it needs adjusting. When it rains, the water drips out of the bottom of the downspout rather than traveling through the pipe extension. When I called in June, I was told that they would come by my house when they were in the area.I waited another 6 months and asked them again to come out and fix the problem. They then informed me that I need to bury the hose extension into the ground. I was NEVER told that I need to do this and it is something that I do not want to do. I'm asking them to come out and make this adjustment so that the water flows correctly. They told me that they would not come out to fix the issue even though the receipt says that I have a three year warranty. All that I'm asking is that they take the time to come out and fix the problem. But they have ignored my text messages.Business response

I am rejecting this response because:The response from Payless Gutters is not acceptable and let me explain why. Back in 2018, I had Payless Gutters install gutters on my main home and in doing so, they provided two of the same plastic pipes at the front of the house. I had a problem with one of them and they came out and addressed the same problem and fixed it! I was never told then and never told now when installing the gutters on the smaller building in question that I would have to bury the plastic pipes.
Since there is a three year warranty guarantee (which is included on the final sales receipt when the work is done), I had them come out to my home to make the same adjustments that Im asking for now with the smaller side building. I would be a happy customer if they would honor their three year warranty but they refuse to do so.
As I briefly stated before, I was NEVER told to bury any plastic pipes. All Im asking for is that they repair what they are referring to as a small drip. How would they know how small the drip is if theyve refused to come out and simply fix the problem? Therefore, I do not accept their response. And this is too bad because they are not only losing a good customer (Ive spend well over $2000 with this company), but I will tell friends, family, my realtor and others not to use this company again because they do not honor their three year contract.
Regards,
