Approximately 1-1/2 years ago i purchased a pair of Diamond earrings for my wife. At the time the sales person told us what a great deal we were getting. The head appraiser for the store told us and gave us documentation stating that the earring s were valued at over $10,000.00 and we should insure them for that much or more. Today, my wife went to Dallas Gold and Silver, Dallas location off ******************* and asked about selling them back or trading up. the sales person said that they would give her $1,100.00. She asked to speak with the *** ***, and not only would *** not step out to introduce himself and try to understand the problem he blew her off completely. My wife is hurt and clearly upset by this ordeal. We thought that DG&S was a standup company that cared about their customers and would stand behind what they sell. This is not the case. They are liars, crooks and thieves. This is not right. Hopefully the BBB will do the right thing and help me get my hard earned dollars back.Initial Complaint

On 4/15/22 I went to this location to get an appraisal of a lady's Rolex. Kristen was the person I delt with, from the counter took the box to her desk to conifer with their watch expert, she opened the box and remove all the paperwork and extra band expansion links, my view was blocked by her select position. She returned to the counter with the closed box, gave be a verbal value. I thank her and I left the store. I did open the box till the next day, when I did the (3) links were missing, value $300 to $600. I called the store on 4/18 and asked if anyone had found the links, the answer was no. We asked to speak to Kristen we were told it was her day off, but they promised to have her call me the next day. She did not call. I call an was told she was unavailble. We try messaging and email with no results. No one from this company contacted me.Business response
