I Put $2500 down on 2015 Jeep. My vehicle motor blown a month and a half after purchasing vehicle. When I mentioned to the car lit vehicle was disabled and was view at mechanic shop. I payed for towing. The mechanic shop stated car lit sold me a lemon. Engine is gone , ca run hot and once it was brought to **** attention at car lot they told me the were not fixing vehicle. A ban contacted me name sensible auto telling me they bought out my loan ****** will now pay them. I told them car has not been running for now almost 2 months and when I mentioned to ****** about defects they make excuses not to fix it and even said the guy who explained engine was blown they accused him of blowing engine. . My payments wont go thru to sensible auto my card throws the payment back as. Fraud and no one car my vehicle is disabled please help. I have paid them over 4000$ and they are not responding . There was discrepancies between payments and policies. Car lot sold me a vehicle that did not past inspection and I didnt know until car lot called me the week after I had car asking to bring vehicle back to do inspection at Imd motorsBusiness response

Good Afternoon.
IMD MOTORS is taking care of mechanical issues when customer notifies directly to the shop by a phone call, email or text messages, we provide towing and warranties on engine and transmission issues when it applies. On this specific case, due to the fact that the customer towed the vehicle to unknown and external mechanic shop without notifying the dealership for any FAQS, there is no way to control who is working on the vehicle and what exactly happened before vehicle motor blown.
We have been responding to ******************** complains since we got notify on the issues, last time we communicate with ****************** was by June 15th, 2023. At ************ as you can confirm on the Attachments.

All vehicles have to past inspection after to be fix at the dealership and before selling at any specific time, however and as it is known it expires after 3 months, so we have to make a new one before transferring depending on the sale date. ****************** already pick up metal plates and registration on time without issues.Customer response

I am rejecting this response because: The car lot rejected from fixing the car once I brought it to their attention back on April 15 that vehicle was running hot and was not running. I have proof of being rejected for car being serviced. Only concerns that car lot and sensible auto were concerned about was insurance on the car. Car lot presented discrepancies in policies. I was told I was in house payment all the way up til mid may when I brought to their attention car was running hot. I was told on may the 5th and I have proof of phone conversation recorded from sensible auto tell me they have been my Lien holders from 3/15/23. The day my car started running hot I called to shop and I was being questioned about ins. While me and my kids were sitting on the side of the road. So I had to call roadside assistance off my Job benefits to tow the car. Because ****** told me they do not tow and could not fixed car. When the car was towed the mechanic did a diagnostic no work and he said ****** sold me a car with bad engine. No work was done. When I contacted the lot again I was told **** that since the car was towed they refused to do work . I could not leave my car in the middle of the store parking lot. I have conversation recorder between ************** and sensible auto. *** asked for a refund and I got hung up on. The shop is 100% refusing and I was submitting my payment no problem until they refused to pay and the carlot just text me as of yesterday after refusing to fix the car. And when I tired to submit my payment its coming back as fraud for their merchant they expect me to pay for a non running car that they have made excuses not to fixed. Phone full of call I was calling them and anger people at the car lot yelling saying what they refuse to do. Last past 3 weeks Ive been speaking with attorney because they bbb are ridiculous and Im not alone on being sold are car with major motor or transmission problemsCustomer response

Payment that was submitted thru website 3 week ago and my card is rejecting the payment as fraud transaction for merchant. They have not been trying to fix car. I they started hollering in phone saying they refuse weeks ago to fix and this has cause me a burden. Ask for payment receipt I was NEVER behindCustomer response

On December 16, 2022, I paid $3,000.00 down for a vehicle that was illegally sold to me, according to ***** law. *********** law prohibits a used vehicle that cannot pass state inspection requirements from being sold to consumers. This dealership knowingly sold me a vehicle that required major repairs directly related the vehicle's inability to pass state inspection. I immediately informed them the next day after signing the paperwork as they assured me it was 'just a sensor' and they would replace it after. Of course, they ignored my requests to remedy this situation and I have all text messages saved, in order to prove this. I am now demanding a full refund of all monies paid to them by me in relation to this vehicle purchase. If refund is not given, I will proceed to file a complaint against the dealership with the ***** Attorney General.Business response

hello my name is ******* ***** ,ive been a customer for three to four years .the company is name iMd motors in garland tx, very unprofessional.they have always let me pay my payments in a money order,by cash app ,there after i had difficuity with my bank.someone had stolen my idenity, so i explain to them during the pandamic disater.so i started by them repo my car cause whoever got into my bank account disputed 800 dollars of transtions.i couldnt get them to understand so they over chasrged me for the repo twice an i went up there an paid 800 out of my pocket an the bank also ended up paying them to.then since all them extra charges they charged me in there eyes made it look like all messed up they didnt try an work with me .they sent a wrecker driver to my home again.i wasnt there i was at work .the wrecker driver demanded me to turn over the car when i tried to talk to them they rudely yelled at me me an threatin me with bthe cops for know reason.so i didnt understand there issue.so i was chased ran off the road an harrassed me .i went to my closest friends home that had a gate so i could call the cops to see what my rights were an to have the cops come out to tell the wrecker driver to leave me alone i had my reciets on me i showed the officer. an they said they had no right to make me in fear of my life .they keep on saying i owe them more money.and thats not true .i need help getting them for what they have done to me .i have all my reciepts that ive paid .please help me figure out what i am able to do to get this matter taken care of .my number is XXXXXXXXXX.Business response

Four months after, we lost more than $800.00 due to you dispute money four times; twice for $206.00 on July 7th and 26th, and twice for $200 on August 31th, all of them same year. Under the second issue, we found out that some money orders you sent us were fake. Trying to help you not to get behind in payments and for security, you agreed to come to pick them up and bring cash, we attached the conversation proof. After more than 3 weeks later, one of your friendship came here to pick up two fakes money orders and pay $200 on 4/07/22. Which is the last payment we received. Amount due today is $1395.10 Not insurance. And you still keep the car. Just to clarify, Towing companies are not allowed to get cars with people inside, no one touched you. IMD Motors still working with you and giving you opportunities even when your contract was in default for almost 3 months since 2/18/22. I've attached all evidences. Greetings.Initial Complaint

On march 21st IMD motors purposefully sold me a car that had extensive damage without informing me of the issues with the car prior to purchase. I also asked if there were issues with the specific parts that are currently causing me problems. They then took well over a week to begin assessing the vehicle. They are now putting me at fault when I only had the car 2 days and never drove it past 80MPH and trying to make me pay for the damage and keep the carBusiness response

Business Response /* (1000, 7, 2022/04/25) */ Ever since the problem had arisen, IMD Motors has taken full responsibility of the tows and repairs of the vehicle. Also no charges have been allocated to the customer. However what was asked was for the Customer to become up to date and current on his car note account once all repairs have completed. As of the post of this response, their account is 21 days past due with a balance of $410.00 Consumer Response /* (3000, 9, 2022/04/26) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) The business has been helpful as of the last issue but I still have not received the refund for the $500 they charged me for the initial repairs for the vehicle the first time I had to bring it in. I did not pay the car note yet as I have not been able to use the vehicle more than a day. I will not pay for a vehicle I cannot use. Hi my name is ******** ******** ,I had purchased a 2010 300 Chrysler for the amount of $2,000 to put down but I had put $1500 down and ask could I work on putting the $500 down and we made agreement to pay the $500in portion ,in portions I paid $220 on the 2/12,/22 and made another payment on 2/19/22 , during the trust day I got it , meaning I made have left the place about 8-9pm that night ,30 minutes after I left the place the engine light and alternator light came on I called them the next day and told them what had happened they told me to bring it in and I brought it in and they fixed it and I'll receive my car Saturday which I left my car with him Thursday a week days later which is a Friday because I didn't go there no work Thursday but I was going to pay the car note all Friday and pick my mother up from dialysis the reason why I purchased the car in the first place before I can get to BeltLine exit it stopped a mile before the exit I'll let it cool down and after I crank it back up and exit the freeway on beltline in mesquite off of 80 highway I parked the car why those a bank a Subway and other businesses I'll call them and told them where the car was and what had happened they did not pick the car up Saturday which they indicated to me because on that day they were asking me to pay the tow truck to get it to them now keep in mind I only had the car for about 2 weeks I feel that since they were charging me $15,000 and 2000 down that I should have to pay for a car to get it fixed or to get a tow truck to tow it so Monday after I went and met them at the tow place because I was the purchase and they was the Linda I had to prove I had insurance and driver license so when they got the vehicle out they did a check I imagine because that should have been done the first time when I brought it to them and they told me that's something about the transmission thing that was pale that was damaged that I knew nothing about they said that the car that have transmission fluid which I knew nothing about they told I had to payBusiness response

We replaced the alternator on us at no charge for customer. Second issue when we did get the car in the transmission pan was hit customer hit something on the bottom so thats not our fualt here are some pictures of the damage
