AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE. Ive been with ******************** for decades and have financed several vehicle loans and personal loans there. I recently applied for a credit card and was denied by text message. The decision is theirs to make and that is not my issue, it was the very impersonal method that I was informed. I have always appreciated DATCUs personal customer service but apparently that aspect is no longer important. I can choose to bank anywhere and I will no longer give this credit union any of my money in the future.Review from Clinton G

We made a mistake on my dad's car loan and thought we made autodraft payments. Didn't recieve anything in the mail or calls about missed payments. They repossessed my dad's car and won't let us pay the back payments to get it back. We have the money and acknowledge it was our fault for double checking that payments were being made but really? Not a chance to make it up and get current. Really shady company.Review from William M

I am not happy with their business ethics. First I was fronted by Credit Karma to lower the interest rate on my truck. Another company was used to set up the application. I was told 6% they did 6.9%. I was told I had a grace ****** of 90 days, I got 1 month. I owed $37,000 on *********** payoff is $47,000. The same price it cost when I bought it with a $3000 down payment and I paid almost two years on the truck at $860.00 a month. The interest Ally made was 12.()% for the loan. To top it off DATCU sent me a demanding letter to verify I have insurance. Most financers get the insurance provider to send it everytime it to be renewed. They would not take my word like I have to honor them when this is a State Law. I saw that this State gives the lienholder leeway to have it checked but then what's the purpose to make it State Law. But the lien holder isn't paying for the insurance I am. Yet they tell me what deductions I can or can't make.Review from June A

This credit union has a loan **** that makes decisions based on personal decisions I was very frustrated and could have been more pleasant but have a 750 credit score and have never been denied anything in my life. Their VP ***** is stand offish refused his compliance tram it's like fraternity brothers and when you are a bank pulling my credit you owe me more than that. I even made two trips to their branch to try to better communicate doors slammed in my face. If any attorney reads this would be happy to let them help me
