I took my cat to Heartland cat hospital for 2nd of opinion regarding sdomatitis. This is a disease that affects the gums and teeth of a cat. They came highly recommended so I made an appointment and drove from ********* ***** to ****** ***** on August 6th. The staff was very courteous and very helpful. I was not allowed in the exam room but I was allowed to observe from a small window at the door. The vet Finally came out and explained that yes my cat did indeed have Stomatitis. She recommended a test, a PCR up respiratory profile. The cost of the test is ******. The total cost for the vet visit was ******. I paid close to ******* for this cat. She came with a genetic health Guarantee. Stomatitis is a disease of the cat's gums and teeth. If the desiease cannot be controlled extraction of most if not all of the teeth is recommended. I would prefer to have the result of this test. If that cannot be done I would like a refund for the test.Business response

We are sorry that you did not have an ideal experience with us! We have contacted the lab several times over the last few months regarding results, for you as well as other patients and have had little to no response on why the results have never been received. We are more then happy to refund you the ****** for the test as we still have not received the test results. If you would like to call us we can have the ****** refunded to your card or a check mailed to your address for the amount. Regarding the genetic health guarantee we would recommend contacting the breeder or organization that you did get your cat from due to the stomatitis diagnosis, we can provide the written records of that diagnosis to support your claim to them.
