One of the worst experiences of my life thanks to *********************** and ************ on their used car salesman tactics. If only I could submit photos of the erosion and flooding that ***** and *** describe as normal and not a problem. Go check out their ****** reviews and search for Rio Virgoe. That is only a handful of photos of what we experience. And when I mentioned PAYING FOR HALF THE COST MYSELF ON A 500K HOME, the response was "we see this matter as closed".They should be shut down as a business

The homeowners comments are inaccurate and misleading. After almost one year of living in his home with no other complaints about drainage, the homeowner first contacted the President of Riverside Homebuilders on a Saturday about drainage problems after a 4.5 inch rain. Riverside was on site inspecting the Property within four hours. In fact, Riverside made multiple site visits to the Property after heavy rains in order to address the homeowners complaints of standing water and erosion. At the time of each visit, which was less than 72 hours after the rain event, Riverside took pictures of the homeowners yard. Each time there was no standing water in the yard. The pictures the homeowner references and relies on to support his claim of standing water are all taken DURING a rain. The pictures Riverside provided to the homeowner of his yard within less than 72 hours after the rain show all water has drained. It is important to note that even during a heavy rain there is no water backing up around the homes perimeter. We strive to make sure all owners are happy with their Riverside homes. Based on our multiple site visits, we were unable to identify any specific drainage issues to be addressed by Riverside. We are disappointed that despite providing documentation supporting Riversides position, the homeowner chooses to ignore the facts and continue to disparage Riverside. While Riverside did tell the homeowner that it considers this matter closed, it was only after Riverside had fully investigated the homeowners claims and provided documentation supporting its position.Review from Stephen M

Joining the Riverside family as a buyer was good. Home warrenty issues, completely horrible experience. I submit a claim and it might get done....3 months later and only half way.Review from S.T.

Once they get you under contract, customer service ends. They use, what seems to be, undocumented immigrants because some couldn't speak a word of English, to build their houses while claiming they "contract" the work out. So they get cheap labor and poor quality workmanship. Their painters were rushed to paint 3 brand new houses in one days time, so you can imagine what that outcome was. There were holes in almost every single door that had patches on them with a different shade of white, so noticable. There are huge gouges in our flooring, likely from someone using a ladder that has rough feet on it from using outside bc it was under light fixtures and ceiling fan. Uneven trim due to the poor craftsmanship of the house, major cracks in our garage concrete, the 4 wood and stone posts on the front porch are ALL cracking, the mortar on the brick outside bricks basically turns to dust, so many unfilled gaps where wasps and ants are starting congregate, caulking throughout is uneven and sloppy to point that I got down on my hands and knees to scrape it off the floor as beat I could without damaging it, they painted the door hinges white which scraped off and looks tacky. They tried to explain it all away as normal, that it'd look okay once we had our things on the walls to cover their poor quality of work. Also, they keep ALL WATER (even ground water) and mineral rights to your property. Why? I could continue but I'm exhausted from it all. I do not recommend this company, they do not have your best interest at heart. They are there to meet a quota rather than to provide quality homes they advertise. We spent over a half million on this home, we deserved better than what we received. Don't expect them to fix things you blue tape. They'll just remove the tape and tell you it's fixed. Note: NEVER agree to use their lenders or any of their parent companies. They are aren't working for you and they are good at telling you what you want to hear, so be careful.
