On May 4th, upon picking up our dog from doggy daycare, my husband was told, our dog got into a little tiff. He had been attacked by a dog that is known there to be aggressive towards other dogs. Our dog let the aggressive dog know to leave him alone. There was no mention of checking for an injury. Once we were home, our dog growled at my husband when he went to *** him. This is when we found a ****** area on his right shoulder and a lump on his left shoulder. We provided first aid. Our dog seemed to be okay afterwards. The next day, he was lethargic. He became upset when we tried to check his wound. On Friday morning, May 6, I called The Paw Pad to get more info about the little tiff incident. The woman said yes she heard something about it. I told her what took place once our dog was home and may need to take him to the vet. I was looking for more details of the incident so I could give the vet thorough information. The woman said she would get more details for me and call me back later that day. I never got the expected call back. This was very disappointing and left me wondering why they did not call me back as promised. On Tuesday (10th), I called for a vet appointment. On Thursday 12th, the vet wanted more information about his injury. I told her about his little tiff incident and that was all the info I had. The vet treated a puncture wound and gave him antibiotics and painkiller meds. Afterwards, my husband went to The Paw Pad to talk to them. He explained about taking our dog to the vet and requested they call his wife back today. The woman (******) took notes and told my husband that she will pass his info on and they will give a call back after 3:00pm. If not, they will call back tomorrow. He asked her call his wife today."I did not get a callback. They failed to meet a commitment to call back on same day, last Friday, and I still havent received a call as of 5/13/22, 9:50 am.
