We had Mid Cities Roofing replace our roof with a stone coated metal Decra Spanish Villa roof on 10/7/2008. It has a 25 year warranty.My husband passed away last year and Ive been painting the house up under the *****. I noticed wood rot occurring and called my insurance company. Further inspection showed water staining inside on our redwood ceiling. The insurance inspection showed that that caulking was incorrect or insufficient around all of the stacks. I sent Mid Cities a text asking them to come by and there was no response after several days. I then called the company and she said someone would give me a call. No one did. Its been a week since last contact.

Reached out to customer and took care of the problem at no charge to her as her workmanship warranty has expired over 14 years ago!!!Customer response

I am rejecting this response because: In my opinion, if the roofs workmanship was as it should've been, it wouldn't have leaked. The employee of Mid Cities came by and redid around the vents on the roof in one area. When I spoke with the owner, I told him that there were additional places that still leak and he said "I will send him back Monday, to do the rest- how's that?!"There is substantial interior damage to the home because of the leaks.
Warranty ************************* Warranty provides coverage to the original owner of the single family detached residential dwelling on which the Panels were originally installed (the Owner) for the following periods: (1) in respect of coverage for leaks, blow-off and hailstone penetration, for the lifetime of the Owner while the Owner owns the dwelling; and (2) in respect of coverages for the finish, for a period of 30 years from the date of the original installation of the Panels.
The coverage in respect of leaks, blow-off and hailstone penetration for any type of property other than a single family detached residential dwelling shall be 50 years from the date of original installation.
