Very nice property but this place certainly lacks in the category of management of events. We attended the November 23 Wine and Safari Festival. We purchased 6 VIP tickets which were advertised as having early admission, wine tasting, Polo lessons, Hot Air Balloon Ride, VIP meals, admission to the Safari Tour and Grape smashing with your feet.Dont attend this festival as it is literally a scam. Driving in we waited for 30 minutes to get down the drive. The parking was a joke, as there was no preparation for the rain and mud that came along.The wine tasting was one white and one red wine. The cheese parings was one cheese company that was placed in a poor place next to a restroom trailer.The Polo ****** was an announcer you couldnt understand, and a picture on a horse. The Hot Air balloons didnt arrive until after we were leaving at 5:00PM, so no ride. The meal was poorly coordinated and you had to eat in the rain in an uncovered area. There was absolutely NOBODY giving people direction as they aimlessly asked one another where was the food, etc. The Safari??? What a Scam! Walk through mud to feed animals that most petting zoos use? Goats, pigs, donkeys with a few kangaroos, camels and buffalo. This festival is a scam, dont waste your day or your money for this! Many in attendance were talking about the advertising being misleading for an overpriced day. One of the worst events *** attended considering the $600 a couple price tag. Certainly NOTHING VIP about this scam. Had this been a $25 admission, this review would be different. We pay for quality food, drink and entertainment but this is certainly not an event worth the price. Poorly organized!
