I had a mini bypass on 2/20/2023 and ran into a few concerns. 1. The hospital I stayed in charged me for my Antibiotics, IV ,and others meds which were supposed to be included. My package clearly stated everything regarding hospital stay is included. I had no Prior health conditions . My bill almost came to $325.00. They told me 20min before discharged me ,I had a bill and will have to pay a percentage. I informed them that this is included in my package . Coordinator (***** )who also knew it was included stated they will only pay a percent. I reminded her about our agreement and informed her i didn't have any Complications or was prescribed special meds as per doctor. I was bothered because I knew I wasn't getting home if I made a fuss. I felt robbled and Intimidated to some point because you have to pay so you can get home. The hotel stay went great but they sent another driver to pick me up for airport of which I wasn't informed the person that picked me up was going to change. I called them several times trying to confirm my pick to the airport and get information about the driver but gotten no response. I was very scary for me once the driver arrived. He called my name to get into the car . I asked alor of questions and took pictures of him and license. I never got an answer to if that was the right person . I took a chance because i wanted to go home. I told them once I got home that they need to do better with protecting us while we are in their care. The hospital I stayed in was ***** ****************** in Tijuana Mexico. My package clearly stated all medicine is included. The person who handled my case from was from Med Tourism co.) ***** who knew it was included and still encouraged me to pay. I felt threatened, robbled, and Manipulated. I felt if I didn't something bad would have happened. So I paid. After I reached home l contact ******** C.and she told me that I was right but that isn't her area. She said ***** handles no return callBusiness response

Thank you so much! Consumer Response /* (2000, 9, 2023/03/21) */ (The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.) We agreed that they will implement changes to their policies and facilities so others don't have to run into situations such as this. With that I am satisfied to know that patients like my self will not be taken advantage of. I didn't agree to remove this complaint but agree to close it if they changed their way of formulating contracts and charges on documents.
