To clarify, we are a certified third-party administrator/consortium and are not affiliated with the U.S. Department of Transportation or any other government agency, nor do we claim to be. We understand your concerns, and we want to emphasize that we take allegations of fraud very seriously. As you can see in the picture you provided of the email there are 3 spots, we emphasize this. Please see the file attached and highlighted sections for reference. Also, I have provided a screenshot of the FMCSA Safer website showing that it does show your DOT numbers VMT as outdated. According to the FMCSA schedule you are due June of every odd year for your regular update, I have included a screenshot of their website with the schedule for reference as well. That schedule though does not take factors like your VMT being outdated into account though. Your VMT being outdated is something that affects your CSA score and can cause insurance rates to be higher. This is why we offer a service to help people with it but do not claim to be affiliated with any government agency. I have unsubscribed you from our list.       Three times this company has withdrawn $199 from my checking account that they say I authorized. I did not authorize the withdrawals and they cannot produce a signed contract. The company said they filed DOT forms for me and I have filed my own reports. I would like the $199 times 3 refunded back to me. *********************, my bookkeeper, called the company to ask for a refund and they refused - said their company policy is to only go back 30 days. I feel the company owed me $597 for illegal money withdrawn from my account.

      Hi ******,
      Thank you for bringing this to our attention. Your feedback is important to us as we continuously strive to improve our customer service.
      After reviewing your account, I see that you were auto-renewed three times at $199 each. While there is no signed contract for the auto-renewal program, we do send an email with each order that states, Please note that the MCS-150 form needs to be filed biennially, and we will auto-renew your service whenever you are due based on *****'s biennial schedule. We will notify you via email, SMS, and letter to inform you of the upcoming renewals. I have attached that email and highlighted the relevant section for your reference.
      We do inform customers of the auto-renewal and send reminder emails three days before the charge is processed, giving you the option to cancel. Additionally, our cancellation policy, which is also included in the email, states, If we dont receive any response after filing the final/corrected Biennial/MCS-150 form for more than 6 months, the system will cancel the order automatically as an unresponsive order, and DOT Compliance Group will not be obliged to refund money for any unresponsive orders. I have attached and highlighted that portion for you as well.
      Since all of your previous orders are older than six months, we are unable to issue a refund for them. However, I have gone ahead and closed your account, so you will no longer be auto-renewed or receive any further services from us.
      I also want to inform you that, although you filed your own form on 8/12/24, the ***** database shows that your carriers VMT (Vehicle Miles Traveled) is outdated. This is because when you filed the form, you reported your mileage for the year 2021 instead of 2024. I have attached a screenshot of this for your reference.
      Additionally, since your DOT number ends in 30, you will need to file again in October of next year to stay in compliance. The 0 indicates October, and the 3 (being an odd number) means you must file every odd-numbered year.

      I never signed or authorized this company to act on my behalf.  This is fraud and I was not aware of what they were doing.  I DID NOT AUTHORIZE THEM TO DO ANYTHING FOR ME NOR TO WITHDRAW FROM MY CHECKING ACCOUNT.  I will follow up with the NYS Attorney General.  I am only asking for my money back - I could sue for the unauthorized transactions.

      Invoice#******* 06/04/2024 Tuesday My credit card was charged for ****** for Form MCS-150 application and Drug/Supervisor training Password and username never worked, and no one ever returned my calls or emails. I now have called multiple times and asked for a refund, and they will not refund my card. In fact, i was hung up on. when you call it states press 6 for refunds and then they tell you they are not the refund department and then transfer you to a voicemail. If you do get a "live" person, they all say the same thing that they cannot help you. Please refund my card!

      Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. We understand the need for quality customer service, and we apologize for any confusion or concerns that have gone unanswered. I looked at your account and saw that you called in on 6/28/24 and spoke with a representative about having both orders canceled and refunded. The representative did request that the orders be refunded, which both were canceled and refunded on 7/1/24. I have attached the refund invoices below so you can see this. It does take 5-7 business days for to be put back into your account. We value each and every one of our customers. I hope this clears up any confusion or questions.

      Our company has continued to receive emails and letters via ***** DOT Compliance Group has also tried to charge my credit card. This was AFTER I spoke with someone on the phone AND emailed regarding the service no longer being needed. Our company no longer needs this 3rd party service and I was told we were no longer going to be contacted or charged. A year later, they attempted to charge my credit card AGAIN.

So, I contacted the manager over our ******************** She has assured me that your account is completely closed out and you will not receive anything from us nor will it ever be tried for auto renew again. We have made sure there is no way your account can ever be reopened again.  We truly apologize for any inconvenience and hopes this resolves the matter.

      The complaint has to do with a paid transaction I have paid a DOT compliance group (***************** Agent ID# ******* to create a DOT & MC number that can be used to operate a commercial vehicle. I have sent multiple emails & have made multiple calls to **** in efforts to address ongoing concerns of what documents are needed to proceed, however **** has not been forthcoming with this information, instead she hangs up the call we are on.

      I was able to look into this further and saw that **** let you know earlier this month that we still needed the articles on incorporated. Also, after your complaint was filed, I had ****** our manager call you. I have attached her call log to this so you can see where she spoke to you on the 15th. Also, I attached the notes we have from our specialist ******* that has been speaking with you off and on today. So, we are proceeding forward and trying to get this accomplished for you. There has been contact and we are steadily working on this as it does seem from what ******* said there is some back and forth between you and another woman who is supposed to pay for the MC# but, she doesn't want the MC#. Once this is straightened out we can continue and get what is needed done. I hope this makes things right.

      We have been received 2 to 3 phone calls a day, and were sent 2 letters. They demanded payment to updated our *** number with FMCSA. When paid, nothing was ever updated, and we called requesting a refund. We were promised a refund of $500 by one agent, then we were given an 800 number for the remainder. We were hung up on by ******** and told we had reached a company called the ************ Group (too similar). When we asked for their number to call back if we did not receive the refund, they gave us the same number for DOT Compliance Group.

      Thank you, ******, for your feedback. I have looked into this and see you had an order for a Biennial Update for $199. You spoke with ******** yesterday about a refund, so your order was canceled and the $199 was requested to be refunded to your account yesterday. I have attached the refund invoice showing this. The refund process does take 7-10 business days for it to be put back into your account. As for the rest of the disputed amount you might try calling the other company you mentioned, ************ Group. We are not the same company and are not affiliated with them. You may have an order with them for the remaining amount as we only show the one order for $199 in our system.       *** started my first business last year and every year you have to be in compliance to obtain federal and government regulations to operate ***** ..I kept receiving a letter from this DOT company as I was thinking it was related to the ***** federal company they new all of my information pertaining to my business meaning they knew when it was time for me to renew I reached out and spoke with a lady name ****** she told me in order for me to become back reinstated that I had to pay $400 and she would provide the necessary steps to reinstate my business back up to date which the process she stated is how the process goes but its free when you go to the official government site ***** .. I began to mention to ****** that I didnt need my mc number anymore just the ***** number she then told me the price was 398 once I paid the money and she told me I will be reinstated within **** business days I began to think back on all the steps I took last year when I started the business and Ive never felt with this company so I called ****** back and once I mentioned to her that there is no charge of $400 to be reinstated with ***** she became nervous and tried tell me I spoke with another ****** in the company when I been talking to her and only her to resolve which I thought need to be resolved.. then I ended that call with her on the number she gave me ********** she told me that was her personal line .. I then called the company number listed on the form sent a man answered ask me for my ***** number I gave it to him he pulled up all my information and told me I was working with ****** and that everything should be finalized with in 5-7 business days I tried calling ****** back she sent me to voicemail and later sent a text saying she was in a conference call she would call me back she asked was it something she could help me with in the meantime I told her no I can wait until she call me back she never called me back this company is charging people $398 for a free renewal they are not any agency of the Government

      Hello, ******, I see that you received the email with the link to submit your refund request. Thank you for doing so. We have already initiated the refund for the ****150 form filing. You should see the refund back in your account within **** business days. Although we already filled out the form and submitted it to the ***** on your behalf, we were able to issue the refund since the ***** had not completed the processing on their end yet.
      As for the *** filing, because we have already rendered this service and paid the *** fee to the *****, we cannot provide a refund. I have again attached for your records documentation showing your *** was updated on January 9th, 2024.
      We do appreciate your feedback and value each of our customers and do hope that the refund for the ****150 form filing and us doing our part in updating your *** for you will help make things right.

They use multiple fake/ spam numbers in their messages. I filed a complaint over a year ago and they still harass me. I have NEVER asked for their assistance in ANY DOT business.

      1/4/24: Paid 200 to this company as my mother didn't realize this was a scam company. I Googled after the transaction occurred what this company actually was because I saw on the bottom of their website: "Disclaimer: DOT Compliance Group provides compliance services required by the **************************************** However, we are not affiliated with the *********************************, the ******************************************** or any other Government Agency.THIS PRODUCT OR SERVICE HAS NOT BEEN APPROVED OR ENDORSED BY ANY GOVERNMENTAL AGENCY, AND THIS OFFER IS NOT BEING MADE BY AN AGENCY OF THE GOVERNMENT."This seemed suspicious to me, specifically that they state they provide services "required by the **** but that they are not affiliated with the ******. Stating the service they provide is required by the *** implies that the *** requires them to provide this service and thus, that the customer must pay for it.However, I found out soon thereafter that the *** government website states updates to profiles/licenses are FREE.This is a scam as they have sent numerous unsolicited scare tactic letters to our address about possible penalties and no mention of any disconnect with the government agency or the ability to file online. If they stated something to the effect of: these updates can be done for free on the government website but we help to do x, y and z this would be fairer and less misleading. However, this was not stated. I want a refund of the $200.

I received an email on 1/4/24 stating that I would receive a refund but that it might take 5-7 business days for the bank to process it. We are on the eighth business day (I didn't include Monday which was MLK day) and I have not received a refund. Once the refund hits my account I will be satisfied with this response.

      In April 2023 we received a call from DOT Compliance stating we needed to renew a *** number with the state. They never claimed said they were a third party and also didn't say charging us 200 on auto renewal. We received a text message and the next day our account was deducted 200. We did not get a chance to call the company since the message was sent after hours and then the money came out overnight. The beginning of September I called and they said they cancelled everything and a refund is processed. I received a text confirming both cancel and refund. Cancel on 9/6 and refund on 9/9 neither happened. I speak with someone different each time and they all say they see a cancel but no refund. I emailed their confirmation to the ************************************* email they confirmed again cancelled and refund. We have not received our refund and I have been transferred, hung up on, and ignored. Each time I call the different reasons to not speak with a supervisor was vacation, manager's meeting, or they hang up or send me to voicemail. I attached the emails and proof of their confirmations.
