I took a kenworth 2012 t660 in to Acostas diesel repair for a blown transmission..he gave me 2 options 4600 for rebuilt or 51oo for new transmission..i chose the 4600 dollar rebuilt this was on September 6th 2022 on September 9th they said truck ready...i got there to pick up truck and they told me its not going to be 4600 but 5000 that they put in new one..i asked who authorized it..no one...so they strongarmed me for extra 500 on about 1st oct i let them know i had lost 5th and 10th gear, on October 5th he told me its under warranty bring it in..on 13th of oct i got it to there shop on 17th i asked about truck was told by Mr Acosta he waiting on seller and my bill was 900 so far..i asked for what when under warranty..when i took in i asked for shocks i told him only thing we agreed on was 200 for shocks ..no response..finally i get a text for saying 1500 for rebuilt transmission and 750 for labor...i said absolutely not this is under warranty and it didnt last 1mo...so i was informed that i have 21 days and they would file a lien...totally unscrupulous..its constant upselling without authorization..wheres the warranty..i paid 5000 for a transmission supposedly new...and 15 working days its out and they wanna charge me again.. this is totally unfair
