Zero Stars.veteran liason manager ignoring my email and calls also an email to the cEO of Maximus led me here. VES is hit or miss . Most of my exams ( even the disability denied service connection) went off great. I completed a C&P exam 84 days ago. I contact the company twice a week I've also emailed the veteran liaison officers veteran liaison managers and the CEO of Maximus to no avail. I get the same generic message every time I call the company for an update on my exam reports. QA is working with the provider for Clarification on your claim for the past two months. I completed a c&p exam 2 weeks after the initial C&P exam and that paperwork has already been uploaded to the VA. Veteran evaluation Services is doing a disservice to the veterans. 7 out of 10 veterans will have their claim delayed deferred or denied due to incompetent providers or workers within the company not doing their jobs. I like some of the providers and the QA Department is overwhelmed with work. I am a 21-year retired US Army veteran and this is not a good company 0 Stars. I try to explore every avenue before I made this complaint, because now this may negatively impact my exam reports, but I will just cross that bridge when it comes.Review from Mike A

Used to be a good company years ago, recently had an exam through them on September 4, 2024, Here it is Almost November, and they have not sent my completed exam to the VA so they can make a decision, sent several emails and there response was the VA did not ask them to expedite it, according to the phone call I got the gentlemen stated the VA ask us to expedite your claim. VES response was we have 45 days to send your exam to the VA, MY VSO said he has had several vets in the same situation, waited for years for an Appeal and won, sent new claim for an increase and this is what i get. If this company calls you refuse to use them and contact the VA and go with QTC or LHI. or you will be waiting a long long time.Review from James C

Website looks like it was created on the cheap. Had to dig into va.gov to see reference to VES, which I finally did. When I called them back I got a rep whose mic was so poor I couldn't only hear every other word. Called them back and spoke to a guy who took my basic information and asked if I minded travelling 100 miles or more. i said I did, especially considering I live near multiple major urban VA facilities. I'm not too optimistic how this will workout, not a great first impression.Review from Troy A

Horrible communication no letters, no email, just a random phone call one day to confirm an appointment two days from now. Half the time appointments don't show on web site, you might get paid your travel pay or you might not. If you do it will be well beyond the 2 weeks it says on their website. Started c&p exams for one issue on 28 Dec 2023, sent to new appointment same claim May 2024, sent to diagnostic test same claim Sep 2024. And this is on a higher level review "duty to assist error" which is supposed to be expedited, VES will tell you the simple fact it was sent to them means it's expedited. This is all from a higher level review from May of freaking 2023 to give you an idea of how hard this company can drag its feet.Review from Ray B

From what I was told today they’re a third party scheduling company that makes appointments for veterans without talking to them then when they call will not reschedule while on the phone. They ask for days you’re not available then they will reschedule for you and mail you out the date in a week or so. When told those are the dates I’m not available now that can change by the time you send me a new date and we’ll have to do this over again. I asked if they could reschedule now while I’m on the phone and was told they can’t. I asked for contact information for the clinic and allow me to reschedule? They said they can’t do that.Review from Anthony C

An appointment was scheduled for me for a sleep study on July 18th at a facility. I called the week prior. They told me someone had messed up and was supposed to ask me a set of questions which included if I wanted to do the sleep study at home. They apologized and spent quite some time on the phone while they typed in notes and put in notes about conducting the sleep study at home. They said I called well within time and that a kit would be sent to my house to do the sleep study. They said someone would be contacting me about the kit by phone or email within 24-48 hours. They instructed me not to worry about the appointment and that I do not need to go to it. I never received anything so I contacted VES a 2nd time the following week on possibly Tuesday before the Thursday appointment and followed up. They told me they were putting notes in the system for the sleep study kit and that someone would be contacting me. They told also told me the same thing to not worry about the appointment on the 18th. On July 18th (day of exam) facility called to confirm if I was going to the study. I explained to them the situation and they said no problem. I called again on July 23rd to follow up and was told not to worry and that someone would be calling me and that it would be no issue to still send the kit for a sleep study. While on the phone I rescheduled 1 auditory appointment. I received no contact back from VES.I called VES AGAIN on July 30 or 31st.I spoke with Cameron who stated he had to let a supervisor know to look into the matter further.I received my first call back ever surprisingly from VES on 8/2/24 from Cameron. He stated I would have to put a new claim in with the VA because I had "no showed" my appointment. He told me I did not contact VES until after my appointment on 7/23/24. I explained to him what I had already explained about all the calls and all the notes that were supposed to be in their system. He said the decision was made to proceed with a no show.Review from Eric D

The respect shown to me was unbelievable. The reason for my evaluation was very traumatic to me and Doctor Sisler and the staff were professional and caring.Review from Shane A

I’ve had 2 mental health exams through them. Both examiners ignored everything I said and put what they wanted on the exam. They do not care about you or your health. They did not take any of my mental health medical records into account and based the entire exam on their own opinion.Review from john d s

terrible..I had a dr's appointment through this sham company...its almost may and no travel pay... when I went to the va medical center in wichita kansas they said they couldnt help..It cost me over 50.00 to go to this appointment which was way out of town where I live in central kansas...they have a stupid policy that says if you call them they put off sending you travel pay 6-8 weeks..and everytime you call they put it off another 4-6 weeks.. they need to be investigated by law enforcement and the sec..I feel they are a scam..
