Their a scam!!! Perla sold my mom what she explained “$1,500 couch” and took advantage of my mom not being able to speak or read in English and made her sing a contract on an over $3,500 couch. Not to mention that the insurance claimed that it will cover everything including pet damages, and they return my mom‘s couches three times with the same damages that they promised to repair. Never in my life have we’ve been lied to on a professional company, and I don’t know if it’s on her or the company that does this to people and take advantage of them.Review from David C

Warning, don’t buy from bel furniture. I had picked out a living room set which the manager said they had plenty in their warehouse in Houston. So I signed the paperwork and paid them for it. Two weeks later they called me and said it was discontinued. Long story short their manager said they sold mine and all the other sets to their Houston customers, they have priority first. If you buy from them asked them do they guarantee the delivery of your furniture from their warehouse and have them put it in writing on your sales contract and see what they tell you. They even sold the one they had on their showroom floor to a customer that came behind us without letting us have first choice at it. Still haven’t gotten our money back either.Review from Dan G

The worst customer experience that I ever had, the salesman Larry making me sprint “motivating” to move to the beat of song to get the the sofa bed I was looking for, and then when I was saying I was looking for something cheaper this guy was saying, “yeah I was suppose that” and I didn’t buy because this mf Larry want to charge me up for a “protection plan” because I was willing to pay everything in one payment, and then I was looking to take the furniture I like and took it to my truck and leave and this guy told me I cannot do that and I saw in the agreement if you miss the delivery the offer you the charge you up for $149 this is an evil company actually BBB should do something about it but anyway let’s keep to my story… this guy Larry again, didn’t want to take my offer to buy in one payment everything summing $390 adding tax, good prices that’s not a problem, but he told my I can’t take the furniture to my place that’s a super bad idea tell no to customer he was driving almost 45 minutes just to see this sofa bed and rocking chair.. but at the end I didn’t like the attitude of Larry and I was canceling everything and telling him I’m not buying and he also said, “ I Was expecting that “ I was like wow this guy seriously told me this ? I went back home OFFENDED, and really curious how is the training workforce this kind of companies with 26 + locations across Texas and America are doing with their people, reach me out and I can motivate and change how your salesman’s won’t lose a single sale ever! I do not recommend anyone purchasing anything from Bel furniture. . The customer services is absolutely horrible. I ordered some things online after visiting the store in person however, when I contacted them to find out about my delivery status, there was no one available to even speak to me. Additionally, I contact corporate headquarters and there was no one available to answer the call. They told me that the voice messages were full. When I contacted the main number to find out if someone from the Delivery team could call me no one was able to call me back. I looked online at all of the reviews and saw that there were more negative reviews. I don’t recommend going here ever again: as, the customer service is not acceptable. No one should have to wait an extended period of time to find out what the status of the order is and there should always be someone that can assist you with ,any concerns you may have regarding your order. I will not shop here again ever again in my life. Customer service is important after the sale. The salesman do a good job of trying to include you to buy the furniture however, after the sale, there is no personal customer service at all. It’s almost like you fall into a dark hole and no one wants to have anything to do with you. This is not the type of experience that the store should be leaving with customers who are loyal to their business. I do not give this business a one star; as, their business practices are deceptive!Review from Charlie H

THIS COMPANY OF FULL OF **. I PURCHASED A 3PC FURNITURE 3 MONTHS AGO!! THE MOTOR STOP WORKING ON THE COUCH RECLINER RIGHT SIDE. THEY WOULD NOT HONOR THEIR MANUFACTURERS WARRANTY. I HAD TO PAY $108 FOR THEM TO COME OUT AND SERVICE IT. FIRST THEY (ESEBELL) TELL ME IT'S BECAUSE IT'S BEEN OVER 6 MONTHS, I TELL HER I'VE ONLY HAD IT 3 MONTHS!! THEN SHE PUT ME ON HOLD AND COME BACK WITH!! BECAUSE I PICKED UP THE FURNITURE!! MICHAEL *****(SALES PERSON) TOLD ME THEY DIDN'T DELIVER TO MY ADDRESS!! I WOULD HAVE TO PAY A CONTRACTOR $200 TO DELIVER THE FURNITURE. I ONLY LIVE 1HR AWAY. SO I PICKED UP MY OWN FURNITURE. MICHAEL NEVER SAID THIS WOULD VOID MY WARRANTY!! I CONTACTED BEL CORPORATE OFFICE AND THEY STOOD BY WHAT THE DEERBROOK STORE SAID. I PAID $108.24 FOR THE SERVICE CALL! AND THE 2 DAYS LATER I'M STILL WAITING ON A CALL BACK FROM MELLY FOR A DATE AND TIME. HOW IS IT THAT THEY DON'T DELIVER TO MY ADDRESS BUT THEY WILL SEND SOMEONE FROM THEIR STORE TO REPAIR IT. I HAD TO CALL THE STORE TO GET A TIME AND DATE!! WAS PUT ON HOLD FOR 10 MIN JUST FOR THEM TO COME BACK AND SAY THEY STILL WORKING ON IT. I'M SO DISSATISFIED WITH THEIR SERVICE.Review from Kathy B

Today was delivery day and Bel Furniture never informed me that multiple of my items were pending, the delivery driver informed me. I requested he call and find out what is going on. I also called and have been placed on hold for 20-30+ minutes, transferred 4 times and lastly told I’d have to wait until Oct 2nd 2024 for missing items due to their fault. So now I am in a new house and just came home from Houston VA Hospital after having surgery to be left with no bed frame, sleeping on a mattress on the floor, missing dresser mirror and dented brand new furniture. Horrible communication and they offered no type of compensation when asked for this matter. Just kept putting the blame on the manufacturer. Customer service was very unprofessional and disregarded my concern/ complaint after I paid over $5000+ in this store. I also purchased a dining set and 2 coffee table sets, had to wait 3 weeks when they delivered due to a damaged table, broken dining chair and damaged end table.Review from Elainena F

Worst customer service and problem solving. I purchased a complete king size bedroom set and dining room hutch on 8/24/2024, was told and given a delivery date for 9/16/2024. Well today comes for my delivery and the driver told me no mirror nor bed frame was on his truck. Called Bel Furniture and was met with lack of concern, oh well and you’re gonna have to wait until October 2,2024 for it to be delivered. When inquiring on some type of form of compensation and a earlier date to have my bed frame, so I’m not sleeping on a mattress on the floor I was told we can’t give any and you could just send it all back and pick something else and wait for it to be delivered Which is completely disrespectful and shows lack of empathy. Fun you came damaged and they do not want to do any type of compensation nor address the issue and continue to transfer me multiple times me on hold for 20 to 30 minutes at a time this is totally unacceptable. I will not be shopping there again nor will I refer this company any longer. Especially after that, I have spent over $5000 in this store to be met with such disdain and disrespect. Very unprofessional and I feel like I’m being ripped off.Review from Cece B

Horrible service from the Clarewood location ! Specifically Yelisa or Yadira not sure on the proper spelling. I called the store this morning (Monday) regarding the issue experienced with our Saturday night delivery, which we were called the morning of stating we would receive the delivery between 6-9pm, yet we didn’t receive any notification until 10:36pm that they were arriving to deliver. Following a two week wait after purchase the couch arrived missing pieces, and we were told to call the store on Monday regarding this , to which I was overwhelmed with the nonchalant attitude and response from the store clerk , who then proceeded to disregard my concerns by stating the need to create a case that would take 24-48 hours to get a response to let alone solution , I don’t want to go 3 weeks before being able to receive and use the couch I just purchased; at this point Please just come PICK IT UP AND TAKE IT BACK!Review from Hakima A

Stay away from this business. Many issues with one purchase. 1- I purchased a bedroom furniture set around 2022 black Friday and I was told if the price goes down in black Friday I would get the difference back. Boom couple of days later the price went down $288. I called in the phone i was told that I will get a store credit no time limitation( not a refend while i still did not receive the set untill 2 weeks later ). Later when I went back to purchase a dining table, at my big surprise one would tell me the credit expired within 3 months another person would tell me expires within 1 year . They ?? scamed me on that $288. Till today. The manager tried to fix the issue headquarters refused to activate the credit. I called them many times but they are greedy . . 2- when I did the purchase they told me i can do 12 months no interest rate . I made auto payments for full balance on my statement. After 12 months at my chock I was charged around $600 in interest . Even wells fargo agent could not understand their mess. Since I was paying in full not missed even one payment.
