      We brought our 1997 Jaguar XJR to Car Crafters for a paint job. They said the job would take a few weeks. Car Crafters returned the car to us after a few months, but did not put the car together correctly after repainting. The tail lights, right turn signal and stereo (located in the trunk) were all not working. There was paint on the windows. In addition, there was damage to the interior of the car. The door panels were not replaced/reinstalled correctly after the paint job. The chrome window trim was dented and bent. And there was a paint chip in the rear passenger panel. The owner said he would take care of these issues. We returned the car to him. He would never answer our calls, texts or emails and held on to our car for several months. When we finally got a hold of him several months later, he returned the car to us, but NONE of the mechanical issues had been fixed AND there were additional paint chips on the car. The owner blamed his mechanic and told us to get the car fixed with our own mechanic and that he would pay the costs. He also agreed to reimburse us $260.76 for a car rental. We took the car to fix the damages that Car Crafters were responsible for. The total cost of all repairs was $1,688.99. The owner agreed to reimburse me for the repair costs ($1,688.99) for the damage done to the car while under his care and $260.76 for a car rental. He promised to send us the check on August 18th, 2022. We have not received the check. Since then, it has been difficult to get ahold of the owner by phone, text or email. We have left messages on voice mail and with employees. He does not return our repeated attempts at communication to resolve this matter. We have email, texts and pictures detailing this ordeal including the owner agreeing to reimburse us for repairs.

The dispute has been resolved to our satisfaction.
