I got into a wreck on 9/4/2024 with one of their policyholders & had injuries as well I did get a lawyer also at first they gave me the run around but then they accepted the claim with not much communication never help with rental so everything has changed for me and my 4 children Ive finally received at call on 10/25/2024 that theyll send a check for my car and as of 11/8/2024 still have not received anything nor any updates claim #TXOA24-0009134 just wondering how long does it takes to send out a checkBluefire Insurance Response

We spoke with the vehicle owner who had found her title. We sent them an email with her settlement documents. Once we receive a response showing the title is lien-free, an initial payment will be issued.Review from Angry B

I stopped paying for one month and got it cancelled. Called the next month to see if I could get it back and the guy on the line said that I could. Charged me $152.65 and told me that my insurance would kick in the next day at 1am. Thought I was good until I saw that I had to pay $169 4 days later. Called customer service because the previous one never mentioned another fee the same month. Tell me why when I call, the lady is telling me that I have to pay $268???? How did it jump from $169 to $268???? Told her I wasnt aware of any of these charges and after going back and forth, I asked for a refund on the $152 since I wasnt insured after paying it. The lady said that the $152 paid for the month I didnt pay and said they could give it back. This insurance company is such a headache especially if youre just trying to pay liability. ******** customer service all around from adjusters to management. If you care about your car this isnt the insurance for you. Lack of communication. Im waiting on a check that I was told Tuesday got sent out Monday. My adjuster said that she sent the check out 08/23 its 10/18. I didnt receive the check. So in that case I need another check sent to me or directly to the shop so that my car can be released from the shop. I have my deductible paid and yet I cant get my car because I cant reach my adjuster or her supervisor. I called her Tuesday she tried calling today after me and the company constantly trying to get in touch with her and the supervisor. She only was saying she sent one out on the 08/23 so I told her I dont have it send it again. Well she wasnt saying nothing I wanted to hear so the situation went left. So I have emailed the supervisor as well as left VM, what do I have to do to get the check sent for my car or do I have to get my car and a lawyer? Claim #ALE24-0003667Bluefire Insurance Response

We spoke with Ms. **** on 10/18 and learned that there was an issue regarding the initial payment that was issued. We requested a trace/void on the check the same day. The stop pay was completed on 10/21 and the payment was issued directly to the body shop so Ms. ****** vehicle could be released.Review from Monty N

Have been back and forth trying to get in contact with claims for an injury I got from one of their insured drivers and it has been a year and change already with no resolution. Their customer service mentions that they have documented all of my calls and that their claims team will reach out within 48 hours, but every single time, it is like I am back to square one EVERY SINGLE TIME. To note, the address under their Contact Information isn't even accurate. Nothing more than a group of slithery snakes who cannot or will not own up to what they owe..Bluefire Insurance Response

Policy #NIC0416681 At no point did I consent to the automatic renewal of my policy or authorize Blue fire to auto debit my card.This action was taken without my prior approval, and I consider it to be a breach of consumer trust. I was under the impression that the policy would require my active renewal, and I would appreciate an explanation as to why this charge was processed without my express consent.I requested an immediate refund of the amount debited from my account. All they do is put the blame on Freeway insurance their affiliated brokerage company.They also claim they are only a customer service company and they can't do any thing. Only the broker can, they are liars and did 2 auto policy renewals without my consent for 2 vehicles that aren't even under my possession as of 2023. They charged me over $900 for a policy i wasn't even aware of and cars i do nor own. They are Scammers! Please do not get involved with. I expect a swift resolution to this matter, and I trust you will take the necessary steps to avoid any recurrence of this issue. Should this issue not be resolved promptly, I will consider escalating my complaint to the appropriate consumer protection authorities.Bluefire Insurance Response

We contacted the insured and explained that her signed Electronic Funds Transfer form authorized us to withdraw her renewal amount, and we mailed her the installment agreement prior to each renewal.Review from Andrea J

Completely a headache to deal with my car was hit by a Texas blue fire policy holder in ****** and i have had the worst time ever trying to get through the entire process The adjuster has ignored every single email that Ive ever sent never answers the phone every single phone number that one of the representatives give you do not work, I dont recommend this company to anyone. I am still waiting on my final refund check from my rental car, which I dont feel like I shouldve even had to come out of pocket for. Complete scam !! All the reviews that I have read are spot on. This company reached out after I was hit by one of their insured vehicles, and the agent *********************************** called me. I thought we would be off to a positive start gettingy classic car repaired. I was absolutely wrong! After the initial call nothing but crickets! Sent emails and made phone calls and they will not return my calls or emails. I'm sure the ***** negative reviews of Bluefire Insurance are absolutely correct. Called my insurance today to process the claim. I hope they go after Bluefire and recap some money.Bluefire Insurance Response

I wouldn't even give Bluefire/Freeway Insurance one star! THEY ARE A SCAM!! For one you can never get through to someone on the phone, and when you do they put you on hold and end up hanging up on you. They ask for the number you are calling from, but never call you back. They are unethical, very unprofessional and there's always a lot of noise in the background and can never hear what they are saying or understand what they are saying. They are absolutely horrible, and have been a big head ache from day one!
