This company painted the fence at the apartment complex I was living in and got paint all over my car and has refused to cover the full cost of the damagesBusiness response

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2022/04/19) */ On October 10, 2020 my company was doing work at the apartment complex Ms. ****** was living at. (Walnut Ridge) Management asked for all vehicles to moved prior to work being started. On the day of a maintenance man named Pablo knocked on her apartment (104) asked her to move the car and told her the area to park in. She moved her car however not where the maintenance man told her to. We went ahead with the work we were hired to do. 2-3 weeks later the manager of the property said she has some paint specs on her car and asked for it to be cleaned. I dropped off a $150 visa card for her to get her car cleaned. Ms. ****** accepted the $150 gift card as settlement resolution. A year and 1 month later, November of 2021 she reached out about wanting $2,000 in cash because her car was damaged. I told her no I would not be giving her cash. She already accepted the $150 for it to be cleaned. She is unable to prove to me that she had taken the car to be cleaned and that didn't resolve the issue of paint overspray flakes. The next step I presented was to have the car evaluated at Classic Chevrolet in Grapevine. I gave her the name and number of body shop technician and to contact him. I already had explained to him the issue of the paint flakes. He was then going to let Ms. ****** and I the next steps to resolve the issue. Ms. ****** refused to go see or take the car to dealership. She is asking just for $2,000 only in cash. In my opinion Ms. ****** only wants an additional cash settlement not a resolution to repair the paint overspray flakes. Attached is the email conversation between her and I. Consumer Response /* (3000, 7, 2022/04/20) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) You are a flat out liar. Your idiot workers started painting the fence with a white car right next to it. They did not ask for the car to be moved before they started painting. The $150 would not cover the damage as I told you the quote I was given. You can pay me or get sued. Why would you have give me anything if you were not liable. You don't get to damage my car and then dictate how and if it will be fixed. Even if what you said was true that "she didn't move the car where they said" you are still liable because you still got paint on it. I will see you in court
