This company nearly swindled me as well. They came knocking on my door claiming to be a representative of the manufacturer for an annual inspection. Because I am a new homeowner and have never owned a stone coated steel roof, I mistakenly allowed them on my roof. Nick then claimed I had hail damage, no pictures no report, just a claim paper to sign ---surprising since these roofs have a lifetime warranty. ignorant to the quality of my roof I called my insurance because Nick said, surely your damage will be covered and if they don't cover it the manufacturer will. My insurance sent a claims adjuster who obviously had no knowledge, claiming there was damage. My insurance denied the claim but also dropped the roof coverage from my policy. It was a Godsend that I came in contact with a reputable company Linear Roofing and General Contractors thinking I would have to pay extensively to repair. Linear Roofing and General Contractors took extensive pictures as well as informed me of the quality of the roof, and there was not one iota of storm or hail damage. There was in fact damage caused by walking on the roof, I cannot verify but will tell you they did a whole lot of banging when they were doing my "free annual roof inspection." Nick and Grey of JDuncanson Roofing had the audaciousness to lie to me and cost me a whole mess of time and nearly money because they were looking to get quick insurance money. News for them, your dishonesty has a price. A word to the wise, do not open the door for these hustlers. Funny that when I called Nick to indicate I was dropped from my insurance roof coverage all of a sudden the manufacturer wouldn't cover those damages. This was an experience that just left me feeling awful to know that there are people like Nick and Grey who can come sit in my home and lie to my face to try and make a buck or as they put in a review response, "feed their families". You shouldn't do that by taking away from other families.

I am sorry you felt that was your experience with my company however they in no way took or attempted to take advantage of you. The inspections we did costed you nothing as they were free of charge. I have reviewed the pictures personally and you do in fact have hail damage however you dont have an insurance policy that covers those damages on your home. You have a cosmetic exclusion on your current insurance policy which is similar to having liability only insurance on a high end sports car. **** spoke with you about this matter just this last Monday and was giving you the best advice possible which was to get your policy changed so you are covered for storm damages. There was nothing charged to you, the banging you heard was what the insurance company requested us to do for the inspection when they agreed you had hail damages but they wouldnt be covering them due to the wrong insurance policy on the property. I completely understand your frustration however its being aimed at us rather than your insurance carrier for setting you up to fail. Best wishes- James Duncanson
