On May 19, 2022, I moved into a newly purchased mobile home from Clayton Mobile Homes in *******, *****. My home is located in ******, ***** at Midway Mobile *********. On this day everything in the home was operational.Within, 4 days of living in the home the light switch in the front bathroom would not turn on the light in the bathroom. The rocker switch pushed up but the light wouldn't remain on. I immediately called Clayton Mobile Homes and spoke to my salesperson, *********************************, telling her of my problem. This was the beginning of a weekend so she will send a maintenance man out the following week.On or about May, 24, 2022, **** with Clayton MH repairman came to my home and after checking the switch, he told me that the Company would be changing from these 'rocker switches to another type as these have not been very dependable'. He took the face plate off, removed a small flat battery and left it on the sink. **** completed a switch out of the old switch for another identical switch. He told me that when the new switches came in that he would return and fix the bathroom switch. He then left. Shortly after he departed the switch no longer functioned.Over the course of a year numerous calls were made to Clayton MH in regards to issues of non functional switches, Plumbing issues under the trailer that had been installed wrong and there had been backups and water damage to the inside of my home at least 6 times in a year with no responses from Clayton to come check the problems or to repair any problems.Clayton MH did then hire a Maintenance Manager, *********************, who scheduled all requests for service from Clayton repair personnel.On the 30 of May 2023 I called Clayton Mobile Homes for plumbing which they helped fix their problem. Clayton has failed to fix the switch issues as of September 18, 2023, per **** and they never will. This now an issue that will cost me!
