I bought a car from this dealership in February of 2021. After I paid cash and took it home for an oil change I noticed the subframe was bent. I called him and made him aware of the situation. He told me to bring vehicle up so a body shop could inspect it. He told me it was a 100 dollar repair and it was safe to drive. Finding out it was more than 100 dollar repair I just said thought I would save the money to get a used one from a junkyard. I got one with my income tax from lkq online for 400 dollars. My mechanic friend and I went to replace subframe and when installing the new subframe on the passenger side hole on the frame did not match with subframe and was about a inch in from where it needed to be. I have reached out to a body shop and they said they will not be liable if anything happens if fixed and did not want to fix car. The picture of the windshield wiper fluid is to show that the white clip there is suppose to be straight and not bent up at an angle.Business response

As stated by the customer we took the car to the body shop and were told by the body shop it was a $100 fix. Customer was satisfed with that and drove the car for over a year (never contacting us about anything). He bought the car AS IS. We had no knowledge of any problems and the title is clean. He stated that he got a part form a junkyard. There is no way to know if that part from the junkyard is good or even the right part. Buying a car AS IS and driving it for over a year and then making a complaint does not seem valid.Customer response

I am rejecting this response because: if they had actually taking to a body shop to get looked at then the body shop would not have told them 100 dollar fix after seeing the damage. Either they lied about taking to one or they went to a very s***** body shop that I wouldn't trust with my kids power wheels. Sorry it's been a year since I have actually been able to try and fix. I'll let my kids go homeless and starve next time. So either a they took it to a body shop and the shop lied about damages or they are lying about damages because I already bought the car before they told me of any damages to the car because I had to find them. Do y'all not look at vehicles you buy to sell.
Regards,
