Easily the worst leaves company I have ever worked with. They have messed up the pay on every paid leave I have ever had. They attempted to gain a release to return to work from my surgeon fraudulently. Claimed that I requested a release to return and tried to convince his team over the phone to sign off on it. luckily I had just had an appointment the previous day. My surgeon offered his legal team to sue them and I really wish I would have taken him up on that offer. This time around because Colorado might have paid me for part of my pay (they did not I was saving it for my wife's cancer treatments) they left me with virtually no pay. I make 6 figures and my most recent check was less than $60. They will fight you non stop until you give up. Guess it is a win for them and the company that contracts them. They fail over and over again to communicate requirements and expectations. I will just not ever take a leave from my current company again I need a leave of absence for having to deal with Sedgwick and I really hope they start being held accountable for their shady business practices.Review from Steve B

Had to deal with this company due to a buy back from ******** I was notified that ******* was buying my car back because of a recall and someone would be in touch with me in 3-5 days on January 16th. I received 1 phone call almost a month after that after repeated phone calls to go over their offer sheet, fast forward to the end of March and left another message. I was surprised when I left a message today that someone returned my call. The countless phone calls and emails and personal time spent trying to get some answers over a 2 1/2 month time frame meant nothing to them and was told the best they could do was honor what they sent to me at the beginning of Feb. this company is a joke. definitely rethinking buying another ********Review from James H

Needed a workers comp injury claim reopened December 28. No response to emails and calls for two weeks. Get ahold of them by phone second week of January and find my adjuster is on vacation. He comes back and reopens the claim but then sends authorization letter to the wrong fax number. Get a new fax number for the doctor and it's apparently wrong, which isn't sedgwick's fault. Get another proper number to fax a week later and apparently nobody at sedgwick is responding again. My managers are making me work basically full duty while technically on transitional duty and disparaging my injury as if I'm making it up since I haven't seen a doctor yet. My transitional duty is ending in four days without ever seeing someone for healthcareReview from Alan F

Lowes Home Improvement and their insurance company Sedgwick are both UNPROFESSIONAL and ignore their customers. I have been trying to process a claim from Lowes through Sedgwick for well over 2 months via phone, chat, text or their website claims page dedicated to my claim. I have reached out to both Lowes and Sedgwick customer service but can only leave a message but nobody bothers to contact me back. Sedgwicks insurance examiner refuses to respond to my inquiries and in fact claims we talked on the phone to resolve the claim, which is blatantly false. Not only did we not talk, she wrote on line on their site that we did talk. I have tried to contact her or the company customer service at least 12 times with not even the courtesy of a response. Even when I complained to Lowes that their insurance company is not responding, all I get is silence or an e-mail providing me the number to all. That is right, the number to call at Sedgwick that I have already been using for over 2 months and was included in my complaint to Lowes. I finally got to talk to a Lowes customer service rep after repeated tries, who was also unable to get Sedgwick on the phone. Of course he was unable to put me in contact with the person at Lowes Corporate who has the contract with Sedgwick. All he could tell me to do was go to the store and complain to the manager. Wow! Talk about two companies you never want to do business with. Needless to say I have stopped shopping at Lowes and have spent thousands of dollars at ********** on my DIY projects in that two month period. Shame on them!Review from Day D

Sedgwick sent me an invoice over 15 months after the supposed damage to a rental car. They said I owed nearly $1,000, I asked to appeal as the damage was not done when the car was in my possession. And, beyond that, even if it had been my issue, it was long since past the time frame to file a claim with my insurance company for a claim, which left me without any recourse. Sedgwick's had absolutely no answer to the long delay before they reached out. Asinine.Review from Debra C

If you ever see this company handling an accident, injury, workers compensation just find another way to resolve the issue. They do not force their work from ******************* to keep up with workloads and dont care at all about the urgency or nature of the help.Review from Ang S

My car was hit by a driver driving an **** rental car.The accident took place in *************, **. The other driver reported the accident to **** over phone. A claim number given to him by ****. ********* for **** cars in handled by Sedgwick Claims management services. My insurance company has tried to reach Sedgwick several times over email and phone. I have tried to call Sedgwick's 800 number as well as the **** customer helpline number (who sent me to ************************** number). I was put on hold for about an hour and after that I disconnected. It seems there is no way to contact Sedgwick and settle my claim.Review from Fabricio D

Amazon Truck hits my parked car, apparently this company handles the claims. I contacted them and the representative ***************************** who's managed by *************** takes the call and instructs me to take my car to a repair shop for an estimate and that she'll have the repair shop paid for their work and provide me with a rental car. Well, it's been over a month, and I have been calling them to check on the status, she tells me it's being reviewed, then takes another few weeks, goes on vacation. I keep calling and asking for help, no one can assist but her. When she finally reaches back several weeks later she now says that they are only going to pay the work partially for the needed work. When I replied that that's not what we had agreed she hung up the phone and now wont even answer.Review from Jonathan C

I was assigned a Sedgwick claim number after ********** assigned third party carpet installers severely damaged my ceiling in April. My claim was being handled by *****************************, who up until a point was very good and communicative. I had been ghosted by different repair contractors, which is not Sedgwick's fault. I let ******* know that I did not want to work with the original company, because the contractor they sent to my house was not only grotesquely offensive in conversation but also ghosted me on several agreed upon repair dates. He even called me two days after ghosting a scheduled repair, only to hang up after claiming he had the wrong number. So the point is, I did not want to work with the original company, who will be receiving their own review. I had been trying to get ahold of ******* for some weeks now, to no avail. Calling the number she gave me only brings me to the general call line, and whenever I ask for her I'm told she's out of office. I sent her an email on June 6 asking her to urgently call me regarding the claim, as yet another contractor had failed to respond after providing an estimate and timeline. Today I received a letter dated June 7th that ******* had tendered the claim to the original flooring company that caused the damage, against my wishes, while also ignoring communications sent to her. This conduct is beyond unprofessional, and I am beyond frustrated. ******* had assured me that Sedgwick would handle the situation if contractors continued to give me issues, and then dumps me back where I started with the one contractor I specifically requested not to work with. I am coming up on THREE MONTHS with a GAPING HOLE in my ceiling, a broken TV, paying $277/mo I do not have for a storage unit to keep my belongings in (As this happened in the middle of a move and I can't put items in that room until fixed), and the general lack of peace of mind that my house is in a good state. I would like to be compensated for all of these things.Review from MARGARITA C
