If I could give this business a zero, I would do so. My family and I visited this BBQ joint on March 8th, 2024, the beginning of the spring break weekend. We were en route to our spring break destination. If we had known that we were going to be treated in a hostile way from one of there owners or employees, we would not have stopped there. This incident was a first time visit and our last as well. We will certainly avoid this place if we were to past through ***** ***** again. The meats in this place are very expensive. A meal for one person could cost you approximately $50.00.We purchased bottled drinks, beer and fountain drinks along with our meals. The lady who was cashiering on this day, as me if anyone in my group was going to purchase foundation drinks because she did not want to double charge us. Now, I had a bottled drink and so did some of my family members who were in line before me. So, therefore, why would she charge me additionally for a fountain drink if I already had a bottled drink on my tray? My son had asked for a bottle opener to open the bottled beer. After he finished his meal, he left the building. I and a few other family members stayed behind to clear the tables that we were seated at. Less than 2 minutes later, the same lady that ranged us up followed my son out of this establishment and preceded to follow him. He noticed her following him than stopped. She accused him of stealing that cheap bottle opener. At this point, I did not realize what had taken place until she walked back into the restaurant, looked around and shouted out where is it. One of the employees/ possible owners yelled out its over here, then pointed to the small cheap bottle opener that was laying on the table where my son was sitting at. If you search for a single opener at ******** you will see a price of .97 cents. This is how we were treated after spending $338.00, in this restaurant. I wonder if this lady is part of this family owned restaurant!
