On 10/13/2022 I had ***** with Kingdom Concrete construct a curb in my yard for a flower bed, while he was here before he finished up I also had him repair a section of curb along the street in-front of my house at XXXX XXth st in Lubbock, ***** agreed and charged me 100 dollars to do this. ***** states his work is guaranteed and on October 22nd I notified him via text that the street curb he repaired had cracked. ***** did not respond till 11/4 @ 2006 and said to send him a picture which I did on 11/5. On 11/10, 11/11 and 11/15 I sent him 1 text each of those days about this problem. on 11/15 I got a I've been busy text and that was the last I've heard from him. I did send another text today 12/1 asking when he could get around to it.. I have saved all text messages to and from ***** from when we did business back on 8/04/2021 and he has never ignored my messages like this. It seems like as long as there is no issues ***** will answer fairly quickly but when there is a problem with his work he ignores you. At this point I would like ***** to either fix the cracked curb or mail me a 100$ check for which I paid him in cash on 10/13 to repair my street curb... **** *******Business response

As **** ******* stated that we had texted each other was correct but my response to him was not as he implied. I did tell him I was busy, but I also noted that I will get back to him as soon as I had a chance. He was put on my punch out list, meaning it will be corrected. This curb repair was not under contract. As I normally do all my jobs under written contract for a 6-month warranty. But I kindly was willing to help him with this small repair. Mr. ******* was a 3-time reoccurring customer that I didn't have a problem helping. Seems like he might have been impatient and aggressively texting, I wasn't ignoring his messages I was just extremely busy between work family and resting due to a medical emergency that occurred. So, I have kindly agreed to return his $100 back, hopefully with no further issues. we sincerely apologize for how this turned out. I will be more than willing to accept a 100$ from ***** for this. I have a couple things to add to this, ***** told me before he repaired my curb he had done hundreds of repairs like this and it would would be a easy repair. This took him less than 2 hours to complete so I don't understand why its been 2 months and still not fixed.I would also like to add I don't understand how a total of 7 text messages from October 22nd to December 1st with a total of 2 responses on 1 on November 4th and the other on November 15th would be considered aggressive texting. I think with that anyone would think thier contractor is ignoring them. ***** has my address and can mail me a check instead of standing behind his 6 month guarantee.
