  This contractor did my elderly parents wrong! He started roof work to locate a leak in October 2021. After his work in Houston the rain came through the roof which begin to leak. After many attempts to contact him he would come and look and say it was not the work he did that caused the leak. He claimed the leak came from the chimney (which was not the work he was hired to do) He kept placing blame on the chimney but still said he fixed the leak. He only put bandaids on his work and constantly the rain would come through the ceiling which made my parents have to put a bucket to catch the leaks. My parents are in their 70s and my dad being a Vietnam Vet this contractor has showed horrible service. After he refused to fix the problem We called 2 other different companies to come out and look and give a quote for the work and both were quickly able to locate the leak which was not caused by the chimney . Do not use ****** ******* as a general contractor. After taking over thousands of dollars from my elderly parents he still has not fixed what he was hired to do. He was referred to us as a great and dependable contractor, but as you can see 1 year later he still has done my parents wrong. I hope no other family has to deal with this. Check all reviews and make sure you ask for references before hiring any contractors.

  Business Response /* (1000, 18, 2022/09/22) */ Mr. *** I'm not sure who you are but you do not know the facts sir. I went to this property numerous times to address the issue. It is unfortunate that even after replacing the affected area that it didn't resolve the problem. We basically covered the entire roof with roof cement to hope to cover the area. I had 2 other roofing companies go to assist in locating the leak to no avail. During the construction process we found that the chimney had been leaking for years in the pantry area that is located adjacent to the affected area. We put new decking down on the flat area, installed ice and water shield and put down roll roofing so after numerous attempts to locate the leak we gathered that it had to be from the chimney. Furthermore, the owners said they would have another roofing company come inspect the roof and see what they would find. I informed them that I encouraged it and if they would let me know the results so I could either pay for their services once they proved it was the roof and repair sheetrock damage on inside. Instead we get this post from you on Facebook. It is an unfortunate situation but i did my due diligence to resolve this issue. It is also unfortunate that I am not a perfect roofer. Sometimes we miss things. That's why another set of eyes is good. At the end of the day show me where the leak was coming in and what it cost to do repairs and I will pay for that service if it was due to the roof. I will also do any repairs if need be. It would have been nice to have got a phone call with the result of your last inspector prior to the bashing on Facebook. We do our absolute best to try and avoid situations like this. And feel free to contact me personally Mr. Wor with any suggestion you may have to resolve this matter. My office will do whatever it takes for a positive outcome and to restore the confidence in our customers.
