Date: 4/8/22 Invoice #: 120 Paid: 1709.99 for Mobile home/AC electric hook-up not completed, despite being paid Had to hire new electrician to come in and redo everything. Business tried to resolve problem once after threatening us. Has not tried to resolve refund request despite having texted him multiple times and e-mailed him requesting refund. Electrician hired 4/5 after they reached out to us and offered bid for job. 4/8 they hooked up electrical. On 4/11 we called South Plains Coop to hook up services and were informed no electrical permit was issued for job, confirmed by Lubbock Building Inspection (LBI). Electrician denied needing permit before performing job but pulled permit and said he'd call for inspection. 4/19 no inspection performed and hadn't heard anything about inspection. Call to LBI stated no inspection requested. We spent multiple days pleading with electrician to call LBI to schedule inspection, even speaking to his secretary ******* 4/21 LBI assured us inspection the next day would be done if electrician called it in. 4/22 inspection not called in. His secretary said "it would probably be best to go with someone else" at which point we requested refund, she declined deferring to electrician. When we reached out to him he was not willing to help threatening to place a "mechanic lien" and pull his permit. At that point we decided to hire new electrician due to his increasing hostility and inability to complete the job. Our new electrician informed us that all the prior work had to be replaced as wiring too small, not grounded, can't run 40 PVC conduit above ground and a 200amp breaker was not installed (100amps by first electrician).
