Horrible company!! Canceled my policies with them almost 6 months ago and it's been nothing but the run around. They have over drafted my bank account on numerous occasions by charging me after policies Canceled. They state they never received the paperwork, even after I sent proof that I sent it back. If you start a policy with them, be prepared for a bunch of issues, and possibly needing a lawyer to get them to actually cancel policies when requested. Giving warning here, trust the bad reviews, do not use this company.Review from La Tonya H

They lie and treat you like a Youre just the commission. I tried to cancel my policy. They didnt cancel it and started taking my cash value out to make payments. I advise everybody to stay away from them, Scammers!!!American Income Life Insurance Company Response

Avoid this company!! I have been a customer of ********************** since early 2000s. In the past two years I have never been harassed by any company as much as i have been with them. Many annoying blocked calls, voice mails and text messages. I told them repeatedly I don't want to change my policy. If I do change something, they are calling and harrassing again within months. I have been trying to cancel since May 2024 and now it's November. Still having problems. I found out, every time you change something you get a new policy number. I sent one cancelation form with 5 different policy numbers. All got canceled but one. Then I started getting emails about them deducting money from the surrender value to pay the premiums I had stopped paying. When I called AIL I found out there were 3 other policies I didn't know about. I'm still trying to get the amount of the surrender value returned. There appears to be a discrepancy somewhere. For all the phone calls, voice messages and texts you get from them to upgrade your policies, they sure don't respond very well when you try to contact them.American Income Life Insurance Company Response

If I could give 0 stars, I would. I have been set up with this company on automatic payments for years. Each time they call me to see if Id like to upgrade my account, I say No, and want to make sure my account is current and paid. The answer is always yes, recently I received a notification from them about my grace ****** overlapped and they took a loan out of my own account of $567 to bring me current. They are charging me 8% until account is current. I called to cancel my account of almost 20 years, unable to speak to anyone and repeatedly disconnected. I would not recommend this company to my worst enemy. This is a quack, fraudulent, company. STAY AWAY!American Income Life Insurance Company Response

Cons!!! They take out of your bank account any **** time they see fit!!! 5 overdraft fees just on my daughter account and that don't even include my 3 overdraft fees and my sons 2 overdraft fees!!! In order to get the money refunded they want an all access pass to our bank account!! Are you f*cking kidding me?! Buh bye scamming con artists!!! We both retired and have tried for several months to cancel our policies.Talked to **** on phone and thru the *****And still nothing other then notifications to pay premiums. American Income is a horrible company. They take advantage of people by using pressure tactics, using non-******** terms and taking advantage of their emotional statis. They also make it hard to cancel any policies that you may have. It is a company taking advantage of the hard-working Americans to get richer and the poor get poorer. They told me I took out a loan that I never took out and had no answer for me as to why they thought that. Terrible company. They pretend to care only to take advantage of people. They lie about policy's and bug you to death to buy one..then when you have a claim the policy changes and you don't have that coverage. I made the mistake of not making sure they sent my policy before I needed it .So when I went to ask for the policy I was never sent it was different than what the what the lady who sold us the policy said we had . I already had the coverage she sold us..I wouldn't have need the same policy twice. So twice my claim was denied and we paid almost 2 and a half year for the same thing. Get your policy up front if you buy from them and don't trust them ..also I've told them for the lastv2 mths not to touch my bank account and they have. Terrible . Signed up first in 2005. Since then multiple agents and was upgraded on several accounts to find out they had actually sold me a NEW accounts instead of what was discussed.Did cancel and get funds back on several that were not as good as a different Company I swapped ***** not recommend.American Income Life Insurance Company Response

I would give less than 1 star if I could. DO YOUR RESEARCH ON THIS COMPANY! Spammers to the max. I have had a policy with these people for less than a year and my husband for more than 5 years and its nonstop questionable behavior. They dont charge on the actually day you chose (draft date) they have 3 dates that show up on your account processing day, Due date, And your chosen draft date. But what they dont tell you or disclose is the fact that they can either charge either 14 days before or 14 days after your chosen draft date, which is ****** up in its self. living in ******* right now Is already f****** hard enough and to get your money taken unexpectedly at any given time it ****** and not realizing it until you have an overdraft fee in your account because you werent expecting it to come out yet they dont give a f*** at all. We called them and set up a meeting to lower our premium because it got to be too expensive for us to afford, and they didnt even fix it. They just kept charging the same amount that were. Trying to get a hold of them is also a f****** b**** too, you gotta call all these different numbers just to get in contact with someone who can tell your agent to give you a call to set up a meeting. Also changed our account from auto drafting to direct billing (mailing it to me and charging me more for it, why not just send me a bill thru my email like every other company does now a days?) Make sure to call your bank to make sure they block the charges after youve canceled as they seem to not follow thru with actually canceling the policy either. Again, do your f****** research on this company its not worth it. Its a f****** s*** show and theyre sneaky.American Income Life Insurance Company Response
