      Called for a refund on a policy I was being charged for after receiving an email that the policy was not approved. Charged twice and waiting for a refund since July 24. 2024. Said the check was mailed out August 16, 2024 they said if I dont received a check by September 11th to call back. Called back and was told no refund was approved and a supervisor rejected the refund. Had an agent call on my behalf and provide a CHECK NUMBER and amount and still cannot receive a refund.

      Finally received the check, I deposited it they then Voided the check but never direct deposited anything.

      A stop payment was placed on the 1st check that was dated 8/11/24 in the amount of $354.84.  On 09/19/24 we direct deposited this refund amount to the bank account we have on file which is ***** bank with the last 4 digit of the account being 5220. Furthermore, ***** called us on 9/24 inquiring on the status of her refund and was told the date it was achd to her bank.

      It would be within reason for ***** to double check with AIL to ensure the bank account number on file is the correct one,

      In speaking recently with a ***resentative on the telephone at National Income Life Insurance Company and asking to be removed from a policy because I am divorced from the policy holder, the *** explained that I am not the policy holder, and therefore will not honor my request to remove me from Policy # NY0140877.And yet, I just received another letter from them dated August 4 that states a loan will be placed against the policy if the premium is not paid, and the letter further states I will be billed for the interest!I am not the policy holder, I am not related in any way (marriage or otherwise) to the policy holder. I do not understand why this company continues to tell me I need to pay the premium or any associated loan interest. They will not stop despite my asking them to stop.

      We would like to thank Ms. ***** for allowing us to respond.  ****************** has expressed that she not the policy holder, our records indicate otherwise. It appears Ms. ***** is the owner and insured under policy NY 0140877.  If she would like to surrender the policy for the cash value, she can do that.  I have included a surrender authorization with this response. Please have Ms. ***** complete it and return it to ********************************** (cc: *******************************) for processing.

      Been trying to contact them to cancel my policy and keep getting put on hold or disconnected. Also have been told when I do get a hold of someone that the system is down and I'll have to call back another time. I would just like to cancel my policy with them.

      On 8/16/2024 i contacted National Income Life Insurance and canceled one of my policies that was for $25/month. However i also stated that i would like my premium payments refunded back to my card used to make payments. The total would be about $50 or so. I have contacted them yesterday and asked would my refund be issued and i havent received any information on that.

      National Income refused to cancel policy and deposit refund into account on July 5th, 2024. In August 5 they charged another $56 and when i called i had to re-cancel the policy said they were issuing a check instead of issuing money back to cardholder. The total amount is $112.

      I am being double charged for my sons life insurance. Ive attempted to have the problem by calling the insurance *** Unfortunately Ive been kept on hold for over an hour 2 times. The third time was given a number that went straight into voicemail and voicemail did not say the company name.

      I have made an effort to contact this company over the past month only to find out their phone number is no longer in service and no response from emailing them or mailing them through the ***** They continue to charge my bank account with an automatic withdrawal. I need to make some changes but have no way of getting through to this company. I also need a copy of my policy as I had requested that a few times in the past year and have yet to receive one. Any help would be appreciated.

      I began payments on 6/1/2023 until 5/15/2024 A total of $773.44 was paid Multiple agents from the company told me that I would receive a par out if/ when I canceled my membership.Once I cancelled I was told that I would not receive my pay out because it was a "service".The company is with holding the money that I put into my account although it is rightfully mine.

      We would like to thank ****** ******-Gifth for reaching out to our office regarding this matter.  According to our records ****** purchased a Whole Life policy with an effective date of June 1, 2023.  The policy has a paid to date of June 1, 2024.

      This is a life policy that pays benefits upon the death of the insured.  As a whole life policy it does accrue cash value which the insured may borrow against.   The only time a refund is offered is when the policy is cancelled within the examination period of the policy.  The examination period of the policy is stated on page one.

      This request for refund comes outside the examination period.  The policy has not been in force long enough to have accrued cash value.  There is no basis for a refund of premiums.  While the policy was in force, the insured had the security of coverage.  Had a claim been filed while the policy was in force our office would have been obligated to provide benefits according to the terms of the policy.

      I am rejecting this response because:   These policies that they are claiming to have was never sent to me in writing when I first came onboard. I was never told this information. In fact I was told the total opposite.

      We appreciate the opportunity to clarify the provisions of the policy.  Page one of the policy advised the insured's right for a refund within the examination period.  This policy offers a 10 day period to review the policy.  The request for refund comes outside that period.  The policy was not in force long enough to have cash value.

      Had the insured passed while the policy was in force our office would have been obligated to provide benefits according to the terms of the policy.  There is no basis for a refund or premiums.

      I am rejecting this response because:   

      If this is the policy and was always the policy, it should be shared with the customers from the very beginning. You can not bring in a customer without releasing this information then proceed to take the money over a period of time, give the wrong information and then keep the money. National Income is full of thieves.
