I sent this to Pruvit - NO RESPONSE:Hello ***************** I am asking for my entire order refunded. My order was for my daughter and I to use pruvit ketones to lose weight. We have been using the ketones off and on since we received our package in late July (July 21 to be exact). For the last two months we have continued to have stomach distress, nausea and headaches but continued to talk with people on the message boards and tried stopping them, starting with lower doses, more water, etc... They continued to cause issues, not to mention severe headaches. We simply had to stop taking these. We have not made any other changes in our diet as we were trying to see how much Pruvit would help. The real issue is here while researching our issues is that we ran across the following site:************************************************************************************************************************************ Pruvit continuously touts how it is completely free of artificial flavors and sweeteners. Lawsuits have shown 3rd Party laboratories confirmed the use of those ingredients. This is not just some sweetener, this is actually petro-based chemicals like benzene, butane, lead, and synthetic malic acid!! I am APPALLED that this is happening!I demand an immediate refund for all products, or I will be absolutely forced to share my testimony of the medical side effects that we have experienced. Also, I am aghast that even though you know about these issues you would continue to market this product without making any changes to its composition. I am prepared to send this up to the Texas State Attorney General for deceptive trade practices as well as launch a complaint with the ************************. I don't normally threaten but COME ON! These are peoples lives that you are messing with. I have attached a copy of the receipt. The Malic Acid is only Natural L-Malic Acid in the formulas.
Your request for a refund of order ******** in the full amount of $531.65 was completed on October 12th for you and was communicated to you on that date and time. I do apologize if you did not receive the response for that full refund from our customer support staff. We also have an automated system email that would send to you after the refund was completed. That would have been sent to this email on your account *************************** I have also provided your screenshots of the refund that was processed on that order and the conversation from support letting you know. I made the decision in the last few years to incorporate Pruvit into my daily routine. However, after using them very consistently, I began to notice a significant decline in my overall health. Specifically, I experienced recurrent episodes of trouble breathing and severe headaches, which greatly impacted my daily life. Upon consulting with my *** it was strongly recommended that I discontinue the use of these ketones until further investigations could be conducted to determine any potential adverse effects it may have on my health. Despite stopping its use, I have continued to struggle with these troubling symptoms in which I never had before starting the use of Pruivit. This has prompted me to research and found out the change of formula. I was not aware of the product changes. I value transparency. I am requesting a refund of my purchases with Pruvit in the amount of $7,193.73. While I understand that individual reactions to products may vary. I kindly request that your company undertake a thorough review of the formulation and ingredients of ketones to ascertain any potential risks or adverse ********** seems that results from a third-party laboratory confirmed Pruvits malic acid was synthetic. The labels prominently state they contain No Artificial Flavors. I am rejecting this response because:results from a third-party laboratory confirmed Pruvits malic acid was synthetic. The labels prominently state they contain No Artificial Flavors. The products are flavored using an artificial flavoring with acid that is derived from petrochemicals as confirmed by a third-party lab This is highly deceptive. Consuming petrochemical-derived food products is detrimental to someone's health.So there for I am requesting full reimbursement by Pruvit it seems that results from a third-party laboratory confirmed Pruvits malic acid was synthetic. I placed an order on Drinkingketonesdaily website for the 10 day challenge kit. I recieved no email confirmation and all I have is a charge for ****** on August 5th. I have emailed, texted and called the contact information on the website that says the promoters names and no response. I would either like the srink package or a refund. I even called the bank to try and find contact information and no luck. Please help.Business response

Thank you for your patience as we look into this issue on your behalf. By utilizing your email address, we were able to locate a Pruvit customer account where you purchased once from us directly back in December of 2022.
Regarding your recent purchase from early ******* could you please provide us with more information and/or the web address you utilized to buy the 10 Day Challenge so we can continue to dive in further? The transaction information listed in the screenshot you provided does not appear to be related to Pruvit directly. Our transactions come through on bank statements with Pruvit listed in the name/info rather than Drinkingketonesdaily. Unfortunately, it appears that you might have transacted through an unauthorized 3rd party website. As I mentioned earlier, any additional information you can provide will help us to continue to dig into the matter in order to see what we can find that might be able to support you in obtaining your product or a refund!

The website ordered from was drinkingketonesdaily.com. names listed on the contact **** are ***** and ***********************. Attached is some screenshot of their contact page. I disputed the charges with the bank as well, the bank refundedmy money. There has been zero contact from them. Along with no invoice or confirmation email as stated. Hi, I purchased the 1 fast5 day and the two boxes of charged and regular nat. I paid for overnight shipping even though I did not receive for 4 or 5 Days later. On my 3rd day of only using yje changed and regular nat I got pretty sick and weak. I had to go to urgent care and was seen and has blood sugar and urine sample and was advised to stop taking due to the adverse side affects I was having. I have no other health issues. I am just asking for a full refund on my purchase including shipping due to the fact I can not use this product.Business response

I ordered two packs of my normal Heart Tart keytones in December 2023 (Invoice number: INV15859997). It was shipped and I received as planned but I did not open the package until recently because I was still drinking prior keytones ordered (first in, first out). In just getting to this product now, I discovered I was actually mailed two already expired boxes of this product. Both were sent in December and had expiration date of 6/23. I reached out to the customer service team via online on 7/7 and was asked to send a photo of the products. I was then told they could not refund or resend me new products because it was over 6 months. I understand my role in not looking closely at the dates but in prior products, shelf life was at least one year so I thought it would follow suit. Regardless, the business sent me expired products and should refund me or credit me as well as send me two new boxes at no charge. I am truly disappointed in the company's lack of ownership in owning something they did wrong and instead blaming it on the customer. To make this right, we have ordered a shipment of two new boxes (plus a bonus third box for your troubles) of Caffeine Free Heart Tart that will not expire until July of 2025 according to the team at our shipping and logistics facility.
Regarding your request for a refund, the representative was correct in saying that we are not able to refund the order since it was placed in December of 2023. Please know that this is a limitation with our merchant processing system, which only allows us to go so far back in order history to action a refund, and not a determination made solely based on your situation. We truly hope that the additional third box valued at $133 is a suitable alternative considering the buy one get one free purchase price you paid back in December.

It pains me to complain here but as a consumer of these products and as someone who was interested in becoming a promoter, I feel the level at which misleading information regarding not only the earning potential of promoters but the product, change in formulas and general potential toxic ingredients has been substantial. In 2019 I was going to try the keto diet and was recommended Pruvit products by a friend. After trying the product as recommended I started to notice a buzz about it on social media. At the time the promises of free product and potential income earnings seemed promising and I decided to invest in the promoter box (over 1k) that promo was supposed to make me an R5 promoter and net me at least free product, which they regularly dangle as an incentive. That free product never happened. Here is what they dont tell you:- Sales are hard because: we had a global shut down in 2020 and the market was so saturated with promoters in was difficult to get clients if you Didnt already have a social media account with thousands and thousands of followers. - At that time, income statistics for promoters was not available information (They have since made it available) average earnings for a promter at my level - just over $300. Had I known this, obviously it wouldve not been a wise business decision and I would not have spent that money on products some of which i did not choose or like). Regarding ingredients: It is coming to my attention over the last year, As it has many people, that even tho pruvit has denied it, they ise of artificial flavoring and potential harmful Ingredients, is likely. I have since stopped even occasionally buying the product. On top of all that, many promoters with social followings have since disappeared. Leaving customers with unanswered questions and doubt. I just realized I made an error in my last response when assessing your situation. We have a new order categorization system that I was unaware of in the back office and I was unable to see orders placed before September of 2021 in the previous screens I was reviewing. After figuring out my error, I do now see your two previous promoter memberships for the 24 month period starting Aug 31, 2020 and lasting until August 30, 2022.

Again, thank you for your continued patience. Upon reviewing the full history of your account, there was never anyone personally enrolled or sponsored by your account for the three years during which you maintained a promoter membership (2019-2022) and as such no commissions were earned. In order to earn commissions, you must enroll customers and/or promoters who then place a commissionable order on products.
We wish that years ago when you had a promoter membership or shortly thereafter, Pruvit Support would have had the opportunity to hear your frustrations directly and connect you with additional tools, resources and business training provided by Pruvit at no cost or take an action with you regarding possibly refunding your promoter membership fees at that time. However, considering the amount of time that has lapsed, we no longer have access to refund those fees through our credit merchant provider.
Lastly, Pruvit does not use artificial flavors or sweeteners and denies the allegations referenced. We take these types of allegations seriously and will continue to take steps necessary to ensure its products are safe and effective.

We apologize that your March order has still not yet reached you and want to reassure you that it is on the way.Our customer service team members were able to respond to you within one hour of your initial email to us on March 27th to help dig in and we unfortunately did not receive a response from you. When your additional emails came through on April 8th, you received another response from us within about one hour. By that date, we realized your shipment was involved in an unfortunate loss of a palette by the shipping carrier DHL and we initiated a reship of your order that very same day.
A new package was shipped for you on April 8th and it is currently set to arrive on April 18th. Again, we realize that this loss of your package by the carrier created an inconvenience for you and as such we have refunded $100 from your order. Should you receive the order and want to return it for a full refund, we would be more than happy to work with you on that!

I order the product, signed up for smart ship and I can even get into the account to cancel. When I say I forgot my username it tells me to enter my phone and then say account does not exist. So I enter my email at which point it want my username which is what I am trying to find. Totally a scam I can even call customer service because there is no pho number available. And I have 48 hours to cancel and stop them from. Charging me for mor product which I don't want any more.Business response

Hello. I spent a lot of money buying Pruvit supplements from independent promoters and sellers. I drank Pruvit ketones on a daily basis and believed the ingredients contained no artificial flavoring. I have learned that this is not true. Pruvit had and has moral, legal and ethical obligations to their customers to disclose any and all ingredients in the product. Pruvit did not disclose the use of petrochemicals in their products. I found that what Pruvit uses contains benzene, butane, lead and synthenic malic acid. These ingredients cause cancer, serious pulmonary issues, they affect the kidneys, liver and lungs and other devastating, life threatening illnesses. A class action lawsuit was brought against Pruvit for this and I am very upset about how much money I spent just to put my health at risk. The fact that I was lied to is unacceptable. I am requesting that the receipts that I can provide as proof, be refunded by Pruvit, since it is not the fault of the promoters who were tricked into selling a product that was harmful and they should not have to suffer giving the refund.I contacted Prvit directly. ********************* stopped responding to my questions regarding the petrochemicals and synthetic malic acid usage when I asked for specific details about the ingredients they use. This action by her seems to support the claims that they are using harmful ingredients that they do not want to fully disclose.Business response

Thank you for submitting your receipts, however it does not appear your transactions were placed on an authorized Pruvit website. 3rd party websites, like ***** are not permitted for use by our Independent Promoters per our policies and as such, we cannot guarantee that they are selling official Pruvit products.
Since your transaction did not occur with Pruvit directly through our website, there is unfortunately not a way for us refund you since your funds were not submitted to us for your purchases. You will have to reach out to the seller directly through **** to seek a refund. We wish you the best in attempting to seek a refund through the **** seller.

Whether or not Prvit allows it, promoters certainly do use third-party websites such as **** to sell genuine Prvit products.
As you can see in the attached photos, looking at all of the markings on this sealed box, including the numbers on the bottom, Prvit is able to verify that this is an authentic product.
In regards to the use of synthetic ingredient allegations while claiming no artificial ones are used, as I mentioned previously, it came out in other lawsuits that third-party laboratories confirmed the use of these ingredients in genuine Pruvit products, such as the ones I purchased.
Again, the only resolution that I will accept is a full refund for all the products that I bought, which I have already provided receipts for, since they can all be verified as genuine Prvit products.Initial Complaint

I have purchased exogenous ketones from this company only to discover they are not working for me and were making me feel sick to my stomach. I contacted Pruvit and they agreed to issue a refund for the unused products; however, only refunded for the most recent order. I reached out again in regards to this issue and requested a refund for the past unused item; however, I was told that Pruvit would not assist.
