Shortly after purchasing my house last year (2021) I started using Shamrock Pest Control for quarterly pest control spraying of the inside/outside of my house. I would also have the regular technician check my attic each visit because I was certain I heard noises up there. The technician Philip put some sort of poison packets in the attic and always stated the packets hadn't been tampered with. Philip also stated if there was something in the attic I wouldn't hear anything. The beginning of October 2022 was the last time Shamrock Pest Control was at my home for my final mosquito spraying of the season, I played a video I recorded only a few days before on my phone of something that was clearly in some part of the fireplace. I'm not well versed on all the parts of the fireplace and don't recall the section...but something was clearly in the attic and in that section. Philip with Shamrock again "checked the attic" and once again proclaimed the packets weren't tampered with. I got actual pest/rodent professionals out and they did a thorough check of the attic and exterior of my home. There WERE packets in the attic that Philip with Shamrock put up there that HAD been chewed on confirming my suspicions of something being in the attic. As described by the professional pest/rodent company I hired there is a "heavy infestation" in my attic. I was appalled to hear that, shocked and ultimately angry because for months I had been telling Philip W/Shamrock Pest Control that ,and he continually told me he didn't see any evidence of any rodents and it was fine. Had this problem been addressed months ago perhaps it wouldn't have reached the level it's at. I have spent over $2,000.00 to secure entry points, set traps and the upcoming cleaning/sanitizing of my attic because Shamrock Pest Control's substandard service. Had Shamrock Pest Control not been lazy in their approach this massive problem would not have gotten out of control and cost me $2,000.00
