Ordering trailer 4/23. Finally received 8/23 small rust spots. Said it was from shipping. Trailer has had very limited use. Sat on blacktop all winter. Not used. It is rusting badly. Contacted dealer 4/24 Said they would touch it up. Im calling, theyre not calling me. I keep getting a response of waiting for touch up paint. This cannot be touched up. Rust is bleeding through the paint over the entire trailer. Last call was 6/24 to dealer in ****** **. Emailed diamond C and the response was the same. Trailer is less than a year old and is literally sitting and rusting. Told dealer I want a new trailer. Have not heard back.Initial Complaint

I bought a Diamond C trailer and spent $25k on it. First time I try to used it the hydraulic hoses start popping off. The trailer is stuck on my truck because the landing gear is also hydraulic. I contact the dealer, they say bring it in to look at it. It tell them I dont believe it is road worth and it is an hour and half to the dealer. I contact Diamond C, warranty ***** He tells me their hose crimping machine was wore out and they should have stopped using it. He told me to get him a quote for new hoses, shouldnt be more than $200. The hoses cost $850. I had them made and replaced them on the trailer myself. Took about 3 hours. I sent the paid invoice for the cost of the new hoses to the guy( think his name was *****. No reply. I resent the invoice and asked if there was anything else he needed. No reply. Then my truck started blowing fuses continuing to make by trailer un-roadworthy to take to the dealer an hour and half away. I found a piece of scrap metal Im my light bar tearing up the wiring. I replaced the broken wires. Then the brakes stop working when Im towing a full payload. My truck is big enough to stop the trailer without brakes, so I towed it to dealer. The dealer finds a bunch of air in the line. They bleed the brakes. Diamond C has a ******** page. I told them about my problem, they tell me they will contact me and make it right. Set up an appointment to call July 24, 2023. Guess what? No call. I went back to the ******** page and told the group they blew me off too. The owner goes on to imply Im lying about not being called and that they did call but I didnt answer. I was waiting on that call. I want my $850 back for the hoses. And I will never buy another trailer from Diamond C. The bad part is my dealer is great and I will have to find a different dealer, but not before updating them on this experience.Customer response

Hi ****, we are so sorry about your experience. Definitely not what we are about at Diamond C. After ** reached out to you to line up the call for resolution of your case we failed to make that connection or follow up. After you posted on the ************** our warranty manager did connect with you on the phone in effort to help and make things right but was unable to do so. We would still like nothing more than to take care of the bill for the hoses you had to have made. We are here to support you with any future needs as well.Customer response

I am rejecting this response because:I need this to be clear, willing to reimburse me and actually reimbursing me are two different things. Are you going to send me a check for $852.38 to reimburse me for the hoses I had to replace on my brand new trailer? Do you have the address to mail the check too? When should I expect to receive the check?
