This company is unprofessional and seems to have a low bar for hiring. I purchased a health insurance policy from a broker based in ************* , **************** lot of very unscrupulous things began to happen. This broker stopped all communication with me after it was purchased and ignored all emails , text messages and voicemails. She appears to have been complicit with a lawyer in ****** and was doing things concerning the billing and accounting. She had me in the wrong plan , did not explain anything , and made this untenable. I wanted a plan for a business owner. She did not explain that there were other plans that did not require a PCP. There is a dr shortage and wait times for PCP are sometimes a year long. These people appear to have no one they are accountable to and seem to do whatever they want to do. I took her off the account with the market place. Several of the brokers seemed to be covering for her. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!! They are dishonest, criminal, and have no moral compass!I had a licensed medical equipment company come to my home for an evaluation of my medical equipment. He asked for my insurance card. I asked him why he needed that and his reply was to update his records. A couple of months later, I received a letter from my current medical insurance company telling me that my insurance was about to end as I had chosen a different insurance company! After MUCH UPSET, STRESS, and Physical distress because of this jarring news, I called my current medical insurance company and they explained that my medical insurance had been switched to another company! After investigation by my family members, I discovered that ************************* who owned a medical supply company in ******** ** had requested this change! I NEVER SIGNED ANYTHING, I GAVE NO PERMISSION FOR HIM TO DO THIS, AND I EVEN ASKED **** HE NEEDED MY INSURANCE INFORMATION IN THE FIRST PLACE! This agent, *************************** FROM HEALTH MARKETS, lied to me, came to my home under the auspices of medical equipment purposes, and took it upon himself to change my policy! If I hadnt been contacted by my current insurance company, I would not have even known! I cant even image how stressful this would have been if I went to a doctor for a visit and was told that I no longer had the medical insurance on file!This agent should be arrested, his license revoked, and his business closed due to false practices. I am still reeling over this because it was such a jarring experience which had a very negative effect on me due to my health conditions. DO NOT HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH THIS AGENT NOR THIS COMPANY. ITS A SCAM AND THEY ONLY CARE ABOUT PROFITS.Review from Christopher H

After readingall these bad reviews About the company The Agent I spoke with ********************* seem to be WORTHY But now I'm in need of insurance But I seen on here not to give out your Personal ssn and Bank BBB information to anyone of these people we don't know them. Ian ****** cold messaged me about a policy today. This was not the first time. I asked him to stop messaging me. He responded with extreme profanity and using the F Bomb several times, and was very unprofessional. No one should be doing business in this manner. I purchased a Policy from ********************* out of ******** in 2017. I ended up canceling the policy as I didn't read the coverage details close enough and only went by what ***** said. That is my fault for not reading closely enough before signing. After cancling the Policy I thought that was the end of it. I got a call from him last year asking about insurance again. I politely but firmly asked him not to call, text email or contact me again in any way regarding insurance. I thought that was the end of it. I just received another call from him AGAIN 2 days ago. When I reminded him I told him not to contact me last year he kept asking 'why?' I said the policy he sold me was garbage and reminded him of last year when I requested no more contact. He just kept asking why and after the 4the time I had to hang up on him. I should need to request no contact one time, especially with not having requested more info from the company since then and being on the **** Terrible company, I would never work with them again.HealthMarkets Insurance Agency, Inc Response

I received over 15 calls after visiting their website. One call after 10:30pm and another after 11pm. I explained to both representatives that I was on the national do not call list and making them aware of what time they were calling. To make matters worse, not only did they not acknowledge both facts, they continued to try and sell me something. I wish I could give 0 stars.HealthMarkets Insurance Agency, Inc Response
