***************** Remodeling and Handyman Services was hired by me to paint the interior of my home (walls, ceilings, trim, cabinets), replace flooring downstairs with tile, install lights, new countertops, new backslpash, and re do tile around the fireplace. It was supposed to be a 5 week job. At the end of 5 weeks none of the above had been completed and much of the work was not done properly. The total I agreed to pay for the job was $32,922.55. I paid $10,000 up front and an additional $16,000 at the end of the 3rd week. After being lied to multiple times, problems with the contractor disregarding the safety of my home and the people in it (doors and windows left unlocked, razors, nails, screws left on the floor and low surfaces, etc.), and a concern for the obvious lack of professionalism and quality, I told the contractor that his services were no longer needed. Also, he damaged several sets of blinds, my carpet upstairs, and used the wrong primer on my cabinets so the paint is peeling off. I estimate that the job is 50% completed and have asked for $10,000 to be refunded. I have since reduced that to $6,000 since I was able to use the down payment made by the contractor for my countertops.Initial Complaint

Hired K-******* remodeling and handyman services to scrape down house, replace rotten wood, chalk gaps, and paint. When they spray washed the house it damaged ceiling sheet rock in my laundry room. So that needs to repaired he said he would do that after he paints. I paid half of the invoice they showed up scrape house down, Then owner of business said he had a death in the family 2 months went by and then he said will be there Tuesday July 5th all that week no show. On Thursday he txt he would be here Monday Jul 11 no show and no communication after that.I asked him for some of the money back since he did not complete the first part of the job which was to replace some of the rotten wood. I provided the wood. No response Would like a partial refund to repair the sheet rock and replace rotten wood.If they have insurance could also file a claim need insurance company info.Business response
