I was promised certain benefits to enroll with this company do to enrollment questions to the best of my knowledge. One of the benefits was for them to reimburse part of your premium to get you hooked, then drop you, looking for what appears to be any excuse. I didn't really need them as I have pretty good VA benefits but listened to a friend, and to the agent...big mistake. If you're a veteran, stay away from these people.

I signed up with Optimum Healthcare June 25th and I have nothing but headaches with them. They're denying me my food allowance which was for $175 monthly I never received a food card. I have called them at least eight times, and ask for another card they send me out duplicate membership cards no food cards now. Every time I contact him they tell me it's on its way and he said another one now I'm going over a month and I'm going into next month and I still don't have a food voucher I think this health care company should be investigated for fraud.

Very rude Ive been late on my birth control because now I have to get it mailed and was told it was rushed then advised it has to be approved again spoke with a ********* and was advised they are not allowed to transfer to a supervisor

We have been with Optimum for six years, and are thoroughly happy with them. They have been totally there for our medical needs. As you get older, more and more things develop in your life. Cancer, heart problems, diabetes, Optimum has covered us.

I agree with the many people who have given this a very low rating for customer service. It's about the worst I've ever encountered. The chief problem is that the people you are forced to talk to really don't know what they're doing, how to access the information from the computer and how to inform the caller about the true nature of the situation. Sometimes it seemed like they were making things up just to get me off the phone. They have a terrible stable of primary doctors, none of whom I would have gone to except that I was forced to because of my coverage. 4 months after my cataract surgery I am still trying to find out why they haven't paid the bills... every time I call I get a different story.My recommendation is that this healthcare provider be avoided at all cost.

Been with Optimum healthcare since 2012 & healthcare coverage is good but the doctors on their plans are terrible/horrific in the area of ******* that I live in which is Pasco County .. *** also noticed this year they have removed several good optometrists from their plans so getting a little cheezy..Optimum is the reason why ******** is going broke.. Received today an OTC order I had placed for *********************** what I received was NOT *********************** but was some brand Id never heard of in an opened & unsealed container obviously Im not keeping this box of ???? Tossing it in the trash Really cheezy company:..

NOTHING about this company has been easy! I ALWAYS have a problem with a company that I can't reach a human, but findings did give me a local number. My last company (Devoted) I got a human first time every time. But I should only choose one problem, so I'll start with my teeth. After having all of my teeth pulled based upon approval for dentures (paying $1200 for temporary dentures that are too big and have caused me endless trouble!), they told me in January, mid process, that they weren't sure they were going to pay for the permanent teeth. After two months and multiple phone conversations (one of them over two hours!), I finally got the approval. The dentist's office didn't. It took me ANOTHER two weeks to get that. Meanwhile, I have had constant mouth pain for five months at this point.It has more been ELEVEN months since my teeth were pulled, and I STILL don't have the permanent teeth. The "lab" can't manage to get the size right. They are too big. NOW the dentist is saying that it's my fault, that mouth is changing, even though I've repeatedly pointed out that the temporaries fit the same. If my mouth were changing the temporaries wouldn't still fit!If I could change insurance companies and dentists, I would have done it six months ago! I'm mid process and there's nothing I can do about it.

Its terrible. They won't okay my eye injections with the medication I need. I definitely will switch to something else. I needed cardiology evaluation because of extreme low heart beat(under 40) and it took over 6 weeks to okay a monitor. I never had this issue with insurance before. We were lied to when we signed up. Oh and about dental, can't get in to any of their providers. This company is ripping off seniors. They deserve the lowest rating possible. As for my husband and me, we are definitely switching to another company.

I have *** waiting 6 months for my part b premium refund, still waiting nothing. If you want your part b back stay away from optimum Healthcare. They will rip off your part b premium.

Optimum gives you $75 a month for Over the counter pharmacy items but the choices are so limited it's really ridiculous. They give you $500 for the year for some kind of benefit towards swimming golfing who knows. ,They do not have a list of places that you can go to and every place I've gone to has denied being able to use this card
