Date of Transaction: 16 July 2023 @ approx. 6:15 pm PT. I responded to an advertisement that came up on an app on my phone for a product that is supposed to remove skin tags: Skin Biotix MD Skin Tag Removal Serum. It was priced at approx. $35 per bottle, with a second bottle for an additional $10, so I opted for that. My total purchase was for approx. $45 USD, which I put on a credit card. When I got an email confirmation of my order, I was shocked to see that I had been billed for $221.65 USD.I phoned the number on the email to talk to the company (SeaBioTix.com) at the number given on the email. I was on hold for 58 min. before a rep answered. I asked him to cancel my order, to which he said that he can't do that. I told him about ** (where I live) having a 7-day cancellarion period under Consumer Protection BC.I have made a request to speak to a Company Manager and was told that that would take ***** hours. I have also sent an email ordering a cancellation of my order and requesting a full refund dated today, July 17, 2023. I am not hopeful that the company will honour my request to cancel my order, which they have greatly exaggerated) and refund my money.
