I am writing to express my disappointment and concern regarding a recent experience at your store. Today, I visited the store with my son, and during our visit, the manager informed me that if I completed a survey, I would receive 10% off my purchase. I proceeded to buy two pairs of jeans for my son and asked the cashier to confirm that the 10% discount was applied. The manager was present, and despite my asking the cashier two or three times, she assured me that the discount had been applied. Trusting her word, I completed the purchase. However, when I reviewed the receipt at home, I realized that the discount was not applied as promised. I immediately called the store and spoke to the manager, who apologized and acknowledged the mistake but requested that I return to the store with the merchandise to have the discount applied. Given that I live approximately 45 miles away from the store, this request is not reasonable, especially since the error was on the stores part. This situation has been both frustrating and disappointing. It is unacceptable to make a promise to a customer and then fail to deliver on it. This is not only poor business practice but also comes across as dishonest.I am requesting that the promised 10% discount be applied to my purchase and that the difference be refunded to my original method of payment. I spoke with **************** and issued refund for the amount of $16.12. which is the difference in which he should have received the discount on the original purchaseCustomer response
