We paid **** $1,500 on 5/25/24 for a landscape plan, which he sent us on 6/1/24. We gave him a hand-drawn sketch not to scale and a plot plan. He took pictures of the exterior of our house. He said that we would have unlimited revisions, which surprised us but were pleased he would work with us until we were satisfied. However, we have discovered he says one thing and does another. Just one example: On June 3 we asked for the plants he **** to be identified. He responded, "No problem." (He did NOT say, "oh that isn't included in this plan.") As of June 13 we still had no plant identifications. Also on June 3 we gave him a list of our revisions but asked him to call us since we had other concerns. He replied, "No problem, will get that to you soon." He never called us to discuss further. His "plan" was a simplistic recreation on CAD of our sketch, the presentation was not in a consistent scale (no scale was even defined), the layout of our house and yard were not even accurate. Finally on June 13, I called **** to say we didn't think this was going to work out between us. **** was upset--no offer to address any of our concerns and finally said in a ****, I'll put a check in the mail for $1,000 the next day. He did not. On June 22, I texted him asking about the check. His response text was, "You won't receive a refund." Exactly opposite of what he said with his mouth on the phone. I responded with a text telling him he never notified us that we wouldn't get the refund he promised and then outlined why we felt that he had not responded to us on any issue in a timely manner, that the drawings were inaccurate and we expected him to live up to his word. No response. We are left with no plant identifications, inaccurate and grossly incomplete plans and never a phone call as we requested and never a revised set of drawings. We have decided to warn others about him in this filing and hope the BBB can help us get the $1,000 he said he would send us.
