After getting inside the vehicle, I noticed that the overall condition of the vehicle was unprofessional and unsatisfactory. There were work materials (dust, rubbing compound, masking tape, foam, etc.) all over the inside of the cabin and outside of the vehicle. I have a lock box in my center console which was left open so my cup holders couldn't be positioned correctly. It was obvious that someone was rummaging through my center console looking for something to steal.I also found an employee's vape refill inside my cup holder, which makes me believe that someone was probably smoking in my vehicle. This is quite disgusting for two people who don't smoke. Someone was also playing with my transmission settings and had the vehicle set to 4WD High instead of 2WD, which is the default transmission setting for the vehicle. Lastly this evening I noticed that the work was not done correctly and a piece of trim that ties the roof panel into my back window was not installed. All in all, this is a pretty unprofessional shop that doesn't do quality repairs. Considering the original repairs took just shy of 6 weeks, I'd hate to know how long this repair is going to take. I would like for the shop to ACTUALLY fix my vehicle, refund my deductible, and cover any rentals if needed.Business response

I dropped off my vehicle for collision repair on April 19th 2022. I was notified that there was a delay in repairs due to the wrong part being sent and asked to take a look at my vehicle. The vehicle was located outside in a gated fence with the front bumper removed being completely exposed to extremely hot weather and storms. When I picked up the vehicle there was metal Parts with rust and trash left in my backseat. I drove off and noticed that my vehicle was making a weird noise and rattling and shaking so I contacted the facility and informed and they told me to bring it back when the tech was there to inspect the vehicle. I returned the following Monday and informed that the lights had not been reconnected either and I was driving without turn signals or fog lights while people yelled and flipped me off with my children in the car. I was told that the noise was normal and that the repairs that were not properly done happens. I spoke with the owner because my vehicle was not driving properly. They were paid a checks on 5/26/22 for $1,596.06, 5/2/22 for$ 326.96, and 5/9/22 for a check of $109.95 by insurance. They gave me a walkthrough of what exactly was done on my vehicle and informed that there was no possibility that the damage that I now have on the vehicle was related to their repairs even though the damaged party was located exactly where they were working. They refuse to repair damages that they did and insulted my character and integrity by stating that I was trying to have them pay for work for a car that was already a piece of ****. There were no rattling and shaking of the vehicle prior to dropping it off. they refused to repair and take financial responsibility for the damages they caused. Brent Cantrell was notified immediately of the issues.the owner shane ****** was made aware days later when i continued to bring the vehicle back because of how bad it was driving. They also claimed to do work not done and received payment from insurance for it.Business response

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2022/06/03) */ It is disappointing to see this complaint being filed. We take comments and allegations like this very seriously. That is why I personally, along with my General Manager and technicians, met with her and her husband for over 8 hours to address their issues and do everything we could to make the situation right with the vehicle. As I stated to this client, I refuse to be extorted into doing something not my responsibility because of the threat of a bad review. The client admitted the primary issue in her complaint is not due to our repairs, and an independent mechanic shop confirmed it (the bearings on the fan are going out). The client told me she didn't have money to pay for the repairs and said I should pay for it because ***** is a big company and "it's a write-off". I am a small business owner of an independent ***** franchise, and nothing is a write-off. That money would be coming from my bank account to fix a problem my shop didn't cause. I acknowledge that one item in the complaint is true. We left a small plastic door molding trim piece (not "rusted metal parts") in the back of the vehicle. We should not have done that, we apologized for it, and we made sure there was no damage to the interior. No doubt we are human and sometimes make mistakes and will continue to make them. When we do, we go above and beyond to correct them. Beyond that though, this review is full of falsities and exaggerations with the intent of damaging my business and me personally. She and her husband threatened to "make a scene", write a false/damaging review and slander me to the community unless I paid for her failing fan assembly. True to their word, they have done it. The fog light/blinker issue was due to a damaged connector on the driver side headlight (we did not touch that area during our repair). We figured out the issue and reseated it for her. We also explained the wiring harness is mangled from prior repairs and may continue to be problematic for her. With respect to the fan, there is no logical way we could damage the fan assembly - which is located between the radiator and engine and far away from the area we repaired. The mechanic shop stated the bearings are going out on the fans and is a common occurrence on that age of vehicle. I'm not sure what she is referring to regarding insurance work not performed. I have all the documentation of work performed and it matches the insurance documents exactly. This was a minor repair and very straight forward. I would like to see details of what she is claiming we didn't do. The reality is she bought a used car, from an unreliable car lot on Jan 31st, that had undisclosed prior damage/repairs. She drove it for about 2 months before bringing it to my shop for repair to the passenger fender and door. We spent hours trying to help her figure out the fan issue. The independent mechanic shop, whose owner she personally knows, confirmed it was unrelated. The car is failing her, we did not. I pride myself on being an upstanding man in the community and demonstrating high integrity. My team and I pride ourselves on going the extra mile and work very hard to help our clients. That is exactly why I am not going to let someone extort me or my business nor let them yell, curse at, and threaten us as they did. I am very disappointed she chose to follow through on the threat to defame my business. Because we take false allegations so seriously, I have engaged legal counsel and the appropriate authorities to address this malicious attack. Consumer Response /* (3000, 7, 2022/06/06) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) Never did I agree nor state that I was satisfied with any unrealistic explanation that was given from the owner during discussion of concerns over the weeks long dispute.i informed them that I would not accept his explanation for damages and poor repairs.this was more than a day dispute.nor did I ask them to write off anything. I asked to witness the process that occurred during repairs numerous times before I was ever allowed. I even offered to review video footage so as not to burden the tech with a walk through repair and asked them to pay for repairs for the damages they caused once that was done. after numerous attempts to resolve issues were given I informed that I would not be taken advantage of just because I am a woman.i stated I wanted them to fix damages they caused and He proceeded to explain numerous scenarios of how things could have been forgotten/ damaged, while repairing those damages but refusing to acknowledge that there was any possibility they could have made any mistakes or damage, especially to the fan assembly.i left in tears physically distraught at their disrespect and bullying just days after oral surgery and health issues caused by stress from their negligence. I had no idea I would be insulted and attacked In this manner. I trusted them.the blinkers and fog lights were not connected and rusted metal parts parts were left In the vehicle upon return to me. The side panel installed want properly installed and was left hanging off.never did he look for interior damaged caused by the metal piece left inside.probably another piece that was not proper reinstalled now that I think on it. I have a witness for that as they removed the peice from my vehicle so my children could get in.The wiring harness is not mangled, only taped from their damage and attempt to repair it, it is located on passanger side not driver's side. He Even goes to say the outside panel that was not properly installed by them could have been kicked off by someone exiting the vehicle, even though it's located on the exterior of the passanger door (where repairs were done). the owner is now blantly lying in numerous responses and now no longer taking responsibility for damages and repairs that were done incorrectly during their repair at that shop. They put me and my family at seriously risk of injury/ accident and released me onto the road with an illegal vehicle. The fog light wire that was damaged by them is located on the passenger ***** on the side in which they were working! As seen in the response the owner refuses to take accountability for his repair crew on all occasions. Even lying about the metal left in my car! The fog lights and blinkers were working prior to dropping it off for repairs and I witnessed the repair tech struggle with the disconnection of the wires during the walk through process and inital repair of wires after pick up. I have multiple witnesses to this initial repair and secondary disconnection and reconnection as well as our conversations.the vehicle had to go through inspection and registration as i recently purchased it while while trading in a reliable, vehicle that I had purchased from the dealership years ago. so it would not have passed without blinkers.nor is it from an unreliable car lot. They fixed the side panel, metal trash in the vehicle, fog lights, and blinkers initially and now want to make a statement that they are not responsible for those as well!? This is a continued insult to my intelligence. As far as the assembly fan goes they removed the whole front end of the vehicle leaving the radiator and fan assembly exposed during extreme weather conditions while waiting for the proper part to arrive. they ordered the wrong part.ordering the wrong part is a common occurance per my witness to their lies and manipulation of other customers aWaiting updates on their vehicles during one of my times at their facility to resolve the issues.im sure it could be verified on the return logs. They also did a "work around" to install the side panel because they were unable to remove the tire due to a lock and struggled with disconnecting wires from the front bumper but now again refuse responsibility. They were not present for full diagnosis either and continue to make false statements on that as well. The Insurance claim documents these initial disassemble and reassemble, unless that is now part of the false claim filed and paid for. They continue to give Numerous possibilities for damage to occur during that time and he even continued to lie about the damage they did! Now he wants to make threats and try to intimidate me into submitting and accepting these outrageous explanations for poor repairs and damages. They were notified immediately of problems and concerns every step of the way.i have proof of that as well. I trusted them with repairs because I supported them and our community by showing up to their grand opening and referring people for repairs to their shop.now my character is being attacked! Now I'm being insulted and threatened. I have numerous witnesses and proof of their lies and manipulation and so do they as their facility has cameras and it is recorded inside and outside of evey area we communicated.i was assured by the owner the facility is recorded and am awaiting their next excuse as to video proof of everything! I'm disgusted by the flat out lies and manipulation in the response before me. To make such false allegations and accused me in this manner is an insult to my character and me as a person and I will not tolerate it. As far as insurance claims go, I will allow the law to investigate this and hold them accountable for their lies and false claims since is it an ongoing investigation. They put repairs that were not performed on the claim and i have a copy given by them as proof. I have more proof of their lies in the response statement above and will use this to furthermore prove their negligence and malice intent to harm me.The lies and manipulation before me leave me disgusted and saddened at the corruption they commit. I hope one day they can no longer manipulate, lie, cheat and steal from others again and that me speaking out against their corruption will bring justice to me and those taken advantage of by such a corrupt company. Business Response /* (4000, 10, 2022/06/15) */ Hello. I have attached my response ****** Response XX-XX-XXXX) due to character limitations in this text box. I've also attached pictures and other evidence to support the response. I'm not sure there is anything else I can provide and feel this should thoroughly address the case. Please consider this my final response. Consumer Response /* (4200, 13, 2022/06/16) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) The pictures prove exactly as I stated before. My vehicle was left out In the extreme weather with the front completely exposed! The area in which the work was completely can be seen in the pictures. The Grey area is where the damaged part is located. The fan is on the other side. Thanks for providing the proof.the other photos prove nothing. Those are parts that could have been replaced, to say it was in a collision with no actual proof of the collision is once again absurd, like most of the companies responses.this does not justify the poor work and lies as well as personal attacks I endured. This is more proof as to the poor job that was done and the lies that were told in the responses from the company.
