SERVPRO of Braun Station came to ****************** after the May 26, 2024 tornados hit the area. They did water remediation work on my house. While the SERPRO team was on site, a theft of personal items occurred. SERVPRO team was the only outside of the household people on site. My complaint focusses on what I believe is negligence of the SERPRO management to minimize the chance of theft, including the following:SERVPRO Restoration Manager did not stay on site while workers were present SERVPRO Restoration Manager did not take precautions via a walkthrough of our home to minimize risk of valuables being taken SERVPRO workers entered the nonimpacted area without checking with homeowners SERVPRO workers arriving and departing multiple times in several personal vehicles SERVPRO workers going to their personal vehicles throughout the day SERVPRO utilized independent contract workers vs. full time SERVPRO employees who would have gone through an in-depth background check SERVPRO did not follow up with pertinent questions of the team on site Items taken are easily concealed in personal vehicles, on person or offsite. A police report was filed with the Bentonville, ********************* SERPRO is not taking any responsibility for theft as they stated no items have been recovered to prove theft occurred.Business response

Unfortunately we are unable to discuss this as there is an open investigation with the police department. If they determine the responsible party then they may contact us to get the information to prosecute. Our internal investigation has found no wrong doing.Customer response
