This company has horrible customer service. I contacted them about a vehicle I was interested. Told them I had a pre-qualification with finance company they worked. I asked them multiples times if everything was good to go with the deal. Asked what steps had been done and what else was left to do. They said just sign papers and pay down payment and drive off. This was on a Monday. On Tuesday contacted again. Asked again if everything was good to go or any issues. Again they said no issues. On Wednesday I asked again and when car would be ready. Again told no issues and car would be ready to pick up by end of day. I called them when ready to come get car and they said deal wasnt approved. They didnt bother to contact me I had to call them. I contacted car gurus with whom the deal was initiated and they stated that the deal wasnt approved on Sunday 8/25 and that HPD had access to that info since that time via their finance system. They did not inform me until 8/28 when I called them. I asked for credit denial letter and was told would be emailed. When I inquired later they then decided it would be mailed siting privacy even though if mailed their is no guarantee I would receive it. And companies give credit denial letters via email everyday. Their business dealings are horrible, they dont do what they say they are doing and are not honest with customers when asked directly. They encouraged paying a deposit on a deal that if they would have done what they said they did would have been fraudulently collected money on a deal that they had access to know wasnt approved. I asked to speak to owner and was not contacted by owner. Poor business practices and worse customer service. I want to be contacted by the owner to explain the poor business practices and poor customer service that wasted 3 days of my time searching for a car.Business response

****************** has a credit score of 492 and one repossession vehicle. The Bank did not approve his application for a vehicle valued at over $15,000 due to his credit situation. He submitted his credit application through CarGurus on Sunday, which is our day off, and since CarGurus did not send us complete information, we weren't aware of his denial until days later. Despite our efforts, we couldn't approve his loan. Out of his 25 open accounts, only 14 are current; the rest are either derogatory or in collection. We did not request a down paymen, but the digital deal at CarGurus does that, but we never got any money from ********************.
He is requesting a denial letter from us, but as we are not a finance company, we cannot provide this. The denial letter will be sent by ******** and the lender.We dedicate our lives to sell cars, if ******************** had a chance we would do it right away.
We have transcripts of all the comunications with ******************** we did not promisse anything, he suppost to visist our location to take a look at the vehicle and get aditional documentations and to take a look at the Vehicle but he never came.
We are sorry ******************** feels that way. We cant do anything with such a bad credit history.

I am rejecting this response because:The company has shady business practices. I asked over and over again if everything was good to go and was told it was and they wanted me to put down a deposit initially of $500. If they did their job properly we wouldnt be having this discussion. And if they have the credit report then they should supply it to me. I requested to speak with the owner and he never bothered to get back to me. But based on how poorly The salesman ***** was I would assume he never bothered to let the owner know of my request. Because within 3 days of this event I got a vehicle 8 years newer and a better APR through *******. So I guess they arent that good at car sales. They blame things on car Gurus and Car Gurus blames them. Its obvious that they arent very good at their job.

I purchased a vehicle back in January 2024 Ive been having problems with the company and vehicle every since 4 days after purchase vehicle had to go back due to overheating 2nd time it went back was engine light was on car was overheating again and engine didnt start after **** the owner of hdp claimed to fix it the same day the vehicle had got released to me for a 3rd time vehicle had went back the same day for a blown out engine this all happened all in the first month **** denied the offer to buy back the car and made me pay my first car note before even processing my warranty after that car sat on the lot for months the loner cars that were given werent insured or registered with any tags i took risk everyday driving them it was bought to my attention that the claim for my new engine was not made until 3 months later when the car was released a week later after weeks and months later being told car would be ready following week after each check in in between those months of car being in there possession once car was released the car was back broke down to overheating I bought it to another mechanic diagnostic was done and shown parts were missing wiring wasnt correct and engine possibly wasnt replaced mechanic made me aware that it was covered with a seal called blue diamond when they processed my paperwork to my warranty company thats when I notified that my warranty was maxed out for the engine claim there was no shown proof that there was a new engine ordered no company receipts no shipping information no mileage information etc. now i have to come out of pocket for any repairs im still out without a car and paying for a car that i dont get to driveBusiness response

Customer has been contacted but has not responded. Customer started a difamacin campaign against our ****** business account. 7 people has written false 1 star review to demolish our reputation.
We have giive the opportunity to peacefully reach out to **. But he does not reach out back.
Original engine that came with the car is sitting in our facility, statement that it was not charged is false and its easy to demostrate. Any day we can check numbers of the engine and present papare work.
Im attaching proof of purchase and payment of that engine.
Besides the engine, additional items where charged as water pump, thermostat, PCV valve. water outlets on the amount of ******* dollars.
Original warranty claim was for 8400 dollars but amount covered was 5000 so we pay out of pocket 3400 extra dollars. Customer was given invoices to prove final amounts.Cuatomer was provaided with loaner car the whole time. He was never stranded.
Customer was offered to do a trade in but never came back. He went to an other shop and we never had the customer or the car back.Customer response

and charged was $2,727.32 for total parts, no odometer reading was listed the in or the out, the service advisor was ********************* himself *********** (6.25%)

Can you please clarify the amount I didnt understand the percentage of the tax I didnt understand that either.
Labor guide indicates 41 hours of labor to replace the engine, but if you have any doubts, I will be more than happy to clarify anything and show additional proof of purchase.The car never returned to us, so I am completely lost on whats going on with it. It went to another shop instead of coming to us. I told Mr. ***** to bring it for an inspection. I have the messages to prove it that.
Your mom and several other individuals posted fake one star reviews into our ****** page that has been reported to ******. Even at the other bussines they write 1 star fake reviews.
again, Reach out to Mr. ***** and got no response one more time
